Shi. Although I did not have any hospital admissions on Chemo, I did have 2 delays( one 9 days, the other 7 days)
And I had a 2 unit blood transfusion.
Dancing ? is the only remedy sorry x

Sorry to hear you had sleepless nights treehouse and Wolfee.
Shi- I didn’t have to go to hospital but was on weekly chemo and when injections were stopped neuts fell quickly and ended up with injections for 5 of the 7 days and that seemed to do the trick .
Wolfee - can you use a laptop, I have slight neuropathy in fingertips and can use laptop but it’s hard work gripping a pen.
treehouse - is the sore armpit red or just feels sore? I’ve had a sore tender feeling in the armpit, like sunburn or when you’re and your limbs feel tender, but skin looks fine. It’s weird as the incision site is fine, think WolfEE and Jay said the same thing.

Hi Rosie thank for that, my 5 daily injection didn’t appear to work this 1st round then, maybe they will start them earlier or give me longer course next time? Hope something can be done that’ll stop this from happening again ???shi xx

Just had a phone call from dentist saying my next appointment was due.
My tiny brain is thinking silly moo i have only just been, I made an appointment especially just before Chemo, her records must be wrong.
Then I realised my god that was 6 MONTHS AGO!!!
Half a year!
And there is more to come surgery to come.
It really doesn’t feel that long. Does it?

I have decided Chemo is like the roller coaster ride from hell.
You spend ages in the queue waiting for it to start. You think you are almost there and then realise there is another queue inside the door no one told you about.there are many times you have to check your height ( and weight and bloods)
Then you get on the ride and to start with it chugging up a hill and you think it’s ok and you can handle it and you smile for the photos and then it goes full speed gown a hole into the twisting black making you feel sick. Up and down each one different feeling like the ride will never end and your lunch may never stay down. How much longer and this isn’t natural and will it crash. Light , dark, up down, round and round. Fast , slow.
Then suddenly it’s over. You feel shaken and bruised and relieved but wobbly as it takes a while for your stomach to return. And as you walk away and look back it was only minutes and one wild ride YOU NEVER WANT TO QUEUE UP FOR AGAIN.
Where’s the coffee shop?

? I am happy to report is back to normal and of toothpaste consistency. My god we really can discuss everything! Giving the piles a chance to recover.

Was reading your cancer personality post mai, I’m not sure either although I do believe stress can be a trigger? There was an article on MSN news yesterday about cancer and sugar and how it makes cancers more aggressive as it enables the cells to divide quicker. Am really going to get to get to grips with my diet when back on the up ! X
