Shi, you’re going home-- so pleased for you! It’s been a while, you won’t recognise the place. Now let’s all keep sending you the blood-boosting vibes so you stay out of the hospital. They look after you well, but it’s no place to be for more than a couple of days.

Thanks everyone for everything. Heather so glad your boilers fixed???that’s a relief for you. Isn’t tomorrow holiday day for you? Or I am I mixing it up like I did the other day giving the 14year old son a daughter ???so sorry :heart::heart::sparkles::sparkles::sparkles::sparkles:???shi xx

Yeah I heard about the sugar my onc was pleased when I told him I don’t use it any more but never went into detail about it!!

So before I get overloaded with packing for tomorrow, I wanted to wish you all a healthy, happy bloods, and easy side effects week whilst I am away. Doing a dance that should cover everything  ??? ???

Will be thinking of you all and will miss all the funny entries but will catch up when I get back. Onwards and upwards lovely ladies.

 Heather

Heather it looks beautiful, especially if the sky is that colour! Have a wonderful time and send us back some sunshine.

Well I got fed up of feeling sorry for myself and went out for a walk despite the gloomy weather. Was only out for half an hour, just round the village, but feel better for it. Misty autumn, squidgy leaves and scents from late flowers.
Just one thing. Last time I looked, our village had a little hill at one end, but most of the houses are on the flat land. But all of a sudden I felt I was walking uphill and getting quite puffed. Turns out the village is quite hilly after all. What happened? Was there an earthquake? Or subsidence?
Or is it me?!?

Heather, have a wonderful holiday and enjoy the sunshine knowing you’re returning to a warm house.

Get to hear you’re going home Shi ??? here’s a bonus boogie.

Katie it’s the ? for you too tomorrow. ?

Treehouse, my lunch buddy and I had a great chuckle over the roller coaster.

Tatyana, good that you got out for a walk. Bracknell has got more hilly too to say nothing of my stairs ?.

My first reaction to finishing today was woohoo.
The second was to point to my surviving boob and say ‘behave!’ As I said to the lovely radiographers, you’re lovely people but I hope I don’t have to see you again. The feeling was mutual.

Woo hoo MJK ,  congratulations on finishing the triathlon, you must be feeling fantastic??

Have a great holiday Heather, relax and enjoy the sunshine

Great news Shi, so glad you are finally home and able to watch the Apprentice

treehouse , loving the chemo/ rollercoaster analogy. perfectly sums it up

Had some good news today, my sentinel lymph node was completely clear of any cancer so reconstruction is going ahead on 15 November, the only day both surgeons can do.

So I can get shopping now for the things I need to take in to hospital, was too scared before as didn’t want to jinx it

? here is to holidays, and finish lines, to coming home, to behaving boobs. To advice and support and fixed boilers. And doing exercises and cutting back on sugar and facing every new hill in our local area we never noticed existed.
Cheers ?

Ooh Rosie great news.
What type of reconstruction? How many boobs?

Both boobs and a tummy tuck!!

It’s a long op but at least it will be done in one go and no rads. Will have physio while under anaesthetic as such a long time in one position!!

The surgeons have had to cancel things to fit me in as no other dates before December.

How exciting. Make sure you have plenty of help. I have struggled with double mastectomy with implants. sitting up is a challenge.
Sleep is tricky too.
Be prepared and it will be all worth it
???
That is such great news Rosie x

Just got home :heart::heart::heart::heart:Thank you so very much everyone, tatyana well donecforvgojng for a walk, h gave a wonderful holiday, I know the drive home felt like I was looking at a new world and it was a bit strange after 6 days in casa nhs, love you all and your ?? ???Worked a treat. Had a lovely day with my granddaughter gave her a bath a had lots of cuddles she is now 7llb 10oz for only just over 2 weeks old she has put on quite a bit of weight only 6lb 8 born a little early so she was really small, she’s absolutely gorgeous we chatted for hours about all the lovely things we can do now she is here, I so wish my dad had met her he would love her, but I do think she is just what we have needed a little ray of sunshine who has emerged from a dark cloud, I never rsetrhought about it till now when people used to say a family member passes to make way for a new one, but she looks alot like my dad in certain ways I’m sure,
A quick question regarding colds and things, I’m a little paranoid this time have been neutropenic sepsis on Doxetaxal, with this new drug I’ve had no injections and have been very careful stating out of packed places I’m now day 8 but taxi driver was full of cold this morning I didn’t realise till we were already on our way and he coughed and said he was loaded! As soon as I got to my daughters I washed my hands and face!! Was only in cab a few mins but so want no hiccups this time after the ? I’ve had during my treatment ? please do your blood dances ladies I need all the help I can get!
Tatanya I should have been like you and walked but it was pouring down and didn’t want to get a soaking!!!
