Tatyana - chemo happened ? the shop at the bottom of my road now feels like it may as well be on the other side of town. Before I’d fancy a bar of chocolate and I’d literally have the thought and be back eating it inside 5 minuted (3 of which spent actually choosing and checking the offers)
Now a visit 2 the same shop and I feel like I’ve achieved a big outing. Feels hard takes ages and I’m worn out!!

Granddaughter sounds adorable. My nephew was prem 30 weeks he was so tiny. He is now huge they grow and catch up so fast. Cherish every tiny little millimetre of her while you can. And so sweet that she keeps the spirit of Dad going xxxxxxx

???dance for you mishy, I just read the paperwork from hospital and diagnosis was neutropenic sepsis!!! They just told me while I was in there I was neutropenic… and that was only fec 1???so double dance for you mishy

I only found out I had it shi when I was discharged they just said I was neutropenic too it was my breast cancer nurse who told me when she rang to see how I was!! Probs don’t like to scare you! Like I said should I was not well on my first 2 fec buy the Doxetaxal that I was neutropenic I don’t think it makes a difference which one you are on, they will probably lower your dose for next time that’s what they tend to do when you have a ruff time on your first dose ?
Thanks mishy, next one should be next Thursday and I was thinking 5 more and I’ve had neutropenic sepsis in 1st one???my admiration for you all is beyond words. I hope he lowers the dose, I would actually like to still be alive at the end of chemo to do the rads and have a mjk

So just wondering ?
I’ve done the chemo and had the mastectomy and lymph nodes removed. Am I now classed as cancer free? At what point are we classed as having ‘had cancer’ rather then has cancer. Is it after radiotherapy or now the surgery is done? When I went for my surgery results the doctor never said??
I’m assuming I’m now cancer free?? I won’t feel it until all treatment has finished but the radiotherapy and tamoxafen are preventing it coming back not 2 get rid???
My onc always made it clear that he wasnt intending to kill me off so it was necessary to tweek my dose so I could cope better with SE my first fec was horrendous on the first night my gums poured of blood and by day 4 was in hospital with severe fatigue and dehydration he reeked dose because of that then by round 3 he took the f out! They would not put you at any unnecessary risk after I was sepis on Doxetaxal and a bad reaction my onc changed my drug to the one I’m on now so I could continue my treatment safely without risking the cancer coming back due to lack of treatment, unfortunately some of us do respond badly to first one let’s face it out bodies are all different and the tend to hit you with a high dose on the 1st one to see how you cope
Don’t be frightened Shi I was and I can honestly say that I have had every faith in my onc hecwiuld keep me safe and I’m nearly at the end of my chemo last round in 2 weeks today sending extra sparkles enjoy your good week in preparation for no 2 ???
Cricky mishy ??? apart from the bit of chill I had overnight a night before my pee burned (which knowing now was something and not I’d not had the heating on) and my temp was 37.2, pre neutropenic sepsis id done ok then. Woolfee aren’t you classed as adjuvant therapy now then? Belt and braces to make sure it doesnt come back? Not sure? Sorry about as much use as brad pitt aren’t i???shi xx

At the moment Ive given up and don’t bother with a bra at night because I get uncomfortable and hot so after something a bit more comfy. It probabaky won’t be as surportive as it should be but must be better than getting so fed up and taking it off completely.??
