Hope everyone is feeling OK today I’m feeling a bit better now my ear has finally started to improve obviously I’m being careful not to catch anything else though the girl in the helpline said it takes approx 6 weeks post last chemo for immunity to return to pre chemo state so to still be careful with avoiding infection but to still be able to go places as long as I keep washing hands use sanitiser for hands cover face if someone coughing neat me and yo avoid anywhere where I know someone has infections or bugs x phew at this time of year too going to be hard!!!

Hi all such a flurry of activity since I last logged on. Just reading through catching up now.
I’ve been busy working my mood has been a little low recently that and exhaustion I’ve been keeping myself 2 myself but I’m on the way up again.
Saw my gp this morning I’m starting an antidepressant that will help with my mood but more excitingly should help with hot flushes it’s called citalopram.
I’ve just opened my letter and I have my appointment date with lymphadema specialists 17th January!! My fingers will be like balloons by then but at least i have a date now.

???wolfee havevyou Googled some lymphodema exercise videos on line? There might be something on there that could help you, are you not tempted to just turn up and show your bc nursevyour fingers and say does she seriously expect you to wait till jan, aren’t they always banging on about getting it seen to asap? Might be worth a call to your bc nurse tell her you want to show her to get her thoughts, worth a try. Love you wolfee ???you are lovely and sending you big hug too love shi xx
