I’m afraid they can if they don’t think I’m going to get well enough to go back to work in an acceptable timeframe . Its rather insulting after all these years, but they have probably done me a favour as I don’t think working under extreme stress is very good for you mentally or physically !! I will have to concentrate on getting well for a few months then look for something less demanding.
Every day I post in this thread, I hope to get a big kick up the backside! The only thing doing that today is the snow! I know others love snow, but it limits my movements as I live on the top of a hill and with osteoporosis I dread falling over xx
Get a sledge ?!!?
Made it to the dentist - been cancelling for last 3 months as couldn’t cope with going - he was half hour late but I didn’t run way ?
Not afraid of the dentist - just don’t like going and as I struggle to go to appointments just kept putting it off .Certainly not too of my list of things to do !!
?
Yes, jill, well done for getting to the dentist…I love mine, but am absolutely petrified when fillings need doing!
Have always been needle phobic and dentist phobic.

Hello Lovely Ladies,
We have a fair bit of snow that is now freezing and pretty scary under foot - no we have a howling gale - the windchill must be bringing the temps down a lot more .I really hate it when it’s like this - I worry about people who aren’t as lucky as us and are out on the streets particularly those who can’t access hostels because they have dogs .
The worst thing today here is the wind ,it’s really strong and bringing temperatures down to "feels like " minus 13 !!! I have just been in supermarket on my own and bought a bread and butter pudding !!!
Got 2 baby ones so I can have them to myself !!
Just eaten one - very yummy !!! Don’t think the other one will last long .
How are things going Jillxx
Not too bad thanks M , having some better days anxietywise.Just getting head round being unemployed but to be honest feel like a weight has been lifted - will hopefully be able find something less stressful when I am feeling better .
I get 3 months pay, yes have requested PIP application form.
yes , I will get some advice about filling it in - doubtful I will get it but worth. How are you managing with your treatment M ?
It’s very variable Belle but at least I am having some better days .How are you doing ?
Waking up in the morning feeling like that is just so horrible isn’t it - exhausting .Hope the new medication helps Belle ???.
It’s impossible not to be hyper vigilant after having cancer - I’m sure my GP thinks I’m a hypochondriac but it’s natural to be suspicious of anything you can’t easily explain . Hope you feel better soon Sue you are probably just run down .Are you taking any supplements ?
Re Paclitaxel …do any of you get sore, aching muscles at all’? I find under my bra straps and along under my bra at the back is very tender.
also I get a reddish arm on the 3rd day which I thought could be cellulitis, but don’t think so now as it goes away…but my arm muscles hurt if I do too much.
be greateful to hear if others had the same?
thank you
