I really enjoyed the meet-up today and it was lovely to see 2 new faces.We missed those who couldn’t make it and really hope Marmite is feeling better and with us for next time.
We mentioned a possible meet next month.The earliest week I can do is from Monday 1st March as am busy turning 40 and being a model for the BCC Fashion show in Cardiff during February!
Mondays,Tuesdays and Fridays are best for me so how about Tuesday 2nd March to start the ball rolling at Browns at 11.30am?
What does everyone think?

I can’t do 2nd March as that’s my next oncologist’s appointment plus Pamidronate that day also.
So sorry you missed us Lesley! We were concerned about you so glad you’re ok.
Howabout we all suggest a few free days and settle on the majority
so I’ll get the ball rolling and say I could do 1st,2nd,5th,8th,15th,16th,19th,22nd and 23rd March. We’re unlikely to suit eveyone but I think it’s fairer to all if we suggest a few dates.

Hi all - yes it was great to meet you Sea of …and m1yu…- and as for the dozy one - well we do know that it affects our brains, so Lesley we’ll have to put a yellow sticker on your forehead next time.
Marmite you had better be out of that place by then - you were missed. We toasted you so that should do the trick.
We also talked of our absent friend Debs in Cornwall, who has been such a loss to us all - and it’s certainly taking some time for us all to get past the shock of it.

I’m ok with 2nd,5th,16th,19th and 23rd March at the moment. But, of course it’s a bit difficult to plan that far ahead. Things might change over the next few days. Keep you posted if everything changes.
Well that certainly suits me Lesley as Friday is the only day I’ve not got pupils so either the 5th or 19th is good for me right now.What about anyone else?
Sorry I cannot make the 5th - but I can make the 19th - but it seems an awful long way away - Can we not meet on a Friday between thoses dates - or can someone else not make them?
Well the only Friday between the 5th and 19th is the 12th and I can’t make that but can do all the dates I mentioned. It’s difficult to suit everyone if not impossible but I think it’s only fair to suggest a few dates and plump with the majority.
If people want to meet up in Feb that’s fine with me but I won’t be able to make it as will be ridiculously busy and need to find some time to rest too!!
You could have a Feb meet and then perhaps we could plump for the 19th March after that if it suits everyone.

Well unless you guys want to meet on the 5th (which unfortunately ~I cannot make) the 19th seems to be the only free time - cos Lesley works the rest of the time.

Please don’t plan this around me - I don’t want to mess it up for everyone else. I can do the 19th but why don’t you all have an extra meet-up between now and then and I’ll raise a glass to you in my absence? Sorry I miss meeting you two newcomers but hopefully will put that right soon!

…oh for goodness sake how ridiculous …I’ve just realised I cannot make the 19th March!! (I believe I called Lesley dozy!) I can make the 26th March …and most other dates in Feb and March & April, J J Aug…etc. just to show you how socially active my life is!
So sorry I was looking at feb in my diary …I’m going to go away and beat myself across the head now.
I’m having my next treatment in Bristol on the 25th February - starts at 10.15 - so will be finished by 2.30 ish - anyone want to meet for a coffee/afternoon tea. You guys can then meet on the date I cannot make in March if you would wish. I think it’s important to try and meet a bit more regularly if we can.
Wrong end of the day for me I’m afraid - unless I can find somewhere for both girls to go after school. Still up for any Taunton meets - I can do that almost any day!!
