Hi Blondie
Brilliant news - and here’s to loads more years of the same!
Also, thanks so much for posting. Over past few weeks I’ve gone from being apparently healthy to finding out I have BC then finding it’s spread into my lungs. So while I’m still wobbling about all over the place taking this in, news like yours is a real boost! There, I’ve made your fantastic news all about me :o) but seriously thanks.

Thanks for posting your very very good news. I just had my second Herceptin today. I know of a lady who has secondaries (brain, lungs and bones) since two years (eight years after initial DX) and thanks to Herceptin she is doing quite well really.
For another at least 9 years,
love,
Christine xx

I have read all of your old post and they have been so inspiring to me since being diagnosed on 26th jan. Heres to the next 9 and thank you so much for posting.
Lots of love,
Jennie
Wow, you are a complete inspiration, thank you so much for posting this has given me so much hope, I also have spread on my lungs and have herceptin/tamoxifen combo hoping this will keep it stable or put me into NED for a very very long time.
Love and light to you
Sarahlousie xx
Thanks Blondie, so pleased for you.
I’m a lungs and liver mets lady and had docetaxel ending December. I know more chemo is inevitable at some point but great to hear it could be a number of years off.
What does NED mean please? Can’t get my head round all the abbreviations but not been on here for long so still learning.
Many thanks for your good news, it gives us all hope.
Donna
Hi Donna
NED is No Evidence of Disease, this I’d definitely acheivable with soft tissue mets but bone mets tend to leave their scar so to speak.
Good luck with the chemo and hope its doing it’s job
Nicky xx
Thanks for that Nicky, makes sense really.
My last 2 scans, during then after chemo both showed ‘some reduction’ but unable to be quantified. But its the right direction at least.
Don’t have any bone involvement yet so here’s hoping!
Thanks again
Donna
