Just popping in from October, love the wig over the hoody ??
Hi Elora, we have a very chilly wind here today so it’s good to make the most when it’s sunny.
I lost quite a few strands of hair the first week but it started shedding like leaves on day 16 - I’m on day 20 today and it’s very thin. It’ll probably be out over the next few days - I’m not brave enough to shave. I’ve started to wear my turbans & I should imagine I’ll be wearing Lady Catherine (yes, we’ve named my wig ?) any day now, but not over my hoodie!!

I’ve been using a toothpaste sized but of shampoo then aqueous cream. I found my scalp really started to get dry after about 3 bald weeks.
I can recommend a cashmere beanie I got mine from TK MAXX for £12.99 it is so soft and even sleep in it if it cold being stretchy it stays put better than the cotton or bamboo sleep caps.
My scalp was dry and coconut wax recommended too me
It smells good it softens my scalp and moisturises it and my bald bonce shines like a bowling ball lol x
Love the photo ??? I can also confirm that online shopping is a se of chemo. I have a lovely new pair of boots as an early Christmas present to myself. Also going to have a look at the Liz Earle site later as my skin is very dry so need something a bit Les harsh. I have been washing my head with baby shampoo followed by a bit of bio oil till it’s nice and shiny! My new hobby is scaring delivery drivers when I don’t have time to make myself look human and put a hat on when they knock. xx

I hate to upset you all but baby shampoo isnt actually good for your hair… a hairdresser once told me, if you put a colour on and its goes wrong and you want it off asap wash with baby shampoo or head and shoulders, both strip the hair very effectively :(

Last Thursday I went to selfridges in Birmingham to visit the unicorn and as I was walking through I spotted a dove grey cashmere hat with shiroski crystals (sorry I know that’s spelt wrong) I immediately went into brat mode and wanted it until I saw the price as it was £347 needless to say it’s still in selfridges snd not on my head x
Well I’m sticking with £1 wash and go then it’ll just be aveeno body wash I got on prescription with my dr app with other little prob :0(

I’ve bought a £14.99 one from Amazon. It got 5star reviews and you can heat style it. I’m going to try it on and then give it to my sis for her birthday. She has loved wig shopping. She has thick curly hair and can’t do anything with it and now that we are looking, more people wear wigs than you realise. We are now on wig watch.
No my beanie was only £12.99!! I sometimes wonder about these ridiculous priced things most of them seem no better quality than your average high street goods. I think a lot of is just being flash. I’m a down to earth kind of girl. It’s like poncey food that’s all arty and tiny. I love good food but I think the high end stuff has gone mad and I don’t want some chef fiddling with it for hours it just has to taste good!
