Merry Christmas everyone, I hope you’ve all been able to have at least a few minutes today where you could put aside your symptoms and be in the moment. Love to you all. x

You too. I must admit, I have felt quite mellow today. Bit of an odd one… xx

Good luck for tomorrow - assuming you are going ahead. I’m a week behind you so will be following how you do with interest. Good luck also to anyone else heading into the chemo chair tomorrow. Will be thinking of you. xx

Hi all, I’m going on holiday tomorrow, and just wanted to mention that InsureandGo were great in case anyone else is considering a trip abroad during treatment. I remember having an absolute nightmare getting insurance to take my mum to SA during treatment 15 years ago, but things have obviously moved on since then. I’ve paid 30 quid for a week in Finland with full consideration for the fact that I’m undergoing treatment. x

Hi hope you are all ok & have managed to enjoy Christmas :christmas_tree: with your loved 1s!
I have completed 3 rounds of EC & today have had my 1st round of 3 of Docetaxel. When I got there the nurse told me that I could only have it given at 75% because my liver ALT’s were high & also bilirubin was high so both liver related. Has anyone else been told this during their treatment? I don’t feel bad tonight I’m just tired because I didn’t sleep a wink last night because of the effects of the steroids :weary: xx

Well done on getting through the first Docetaxel - two thirds of the way there now. I hope you get some sleep today and don’t feet too bad. Take it easy. xx

Aww Thankyou :sparkling_heart: I’m just anticipating what symptoms I will get from this 1, up to now I feel ok but my steroids finish this afternoon then I suppose things might change!! I’ll keep you posted. Yes I’m glad I only have 2 more rounds to go!!! It’s seemed like a long time coming!!! X

Yes, apparently so! I had my blood tests done today - I was one of three having them done! But they were doing chemo today. 10 into 12 sounds like you are so close…

Getting there. Its been a long haul as i guess all us November starters are feeling it right now. Think radiotherapy will start shortly after… one of my unanswered questions today :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

It’s been ok thanks. I had three EC and now moving onto three Docetaxel, which I’m dreading. Mostly just tiredness that doesn’t go away and side effects from the evil Filgrastim injections. xx

Happy New Year all of you amazing Women!

I had my last EC on Monday then move to Docetaxel and PHESGO on 13th.

I’m curious as to why most women on here seem to be having 3 cycles of each and I am having four of each. I’m also curious to understand why my EC had two week gap, and the next regime has three week gap. Is it because it’s tougher on the body? I had hoped that because EC is known as Red Devil, that the second regime would be better…

By the time I finish it will me mid to late March! Then surgery and radiotherapy and I think all the hormone stuff too that I havent got to grips with. The oncologist appointments are so fast and unless I have my notebook with me (which annoyingly I didn’t take the last couple of visits) I forget to ask all these questions - they seem to assume you will just inderstand it all because its what they do day in day out.
