Hey nicki mums heart has gone from 67 to 72 she gets checked a lot more frequently than the heart people think she should but she’s part of the research group so she has to do it all frequently lol

Hi everyone I’ve just had my first halfway CT results and there great some of the lung and liver nodules have disappeared and the rest have shrank so I can continue on the treatment I’m so relieved. I have two more docetaxcol to get the oncologist said he’s happy for me to have a extra two if I feel ok after number 6 what do you all think ?

Hi Nicky. Congratulations that’s great news. I’ve just had my yearly scan so waiting for results. Hoping to still be NED on h and p. It will be just h and p for me in September.

Hi guys I’m new to the chemo herceptin and pertuzamab treatment also having the bone injection as well had Breast cancer 5 years ago now returned in bones had first chemo and treatments two weeks ago due my next one next week all being well would love to hear of people who have been through this xx
Hi skippy I’ve just finished the chemo part and I’m now just on h and p it’s a lot better once you finish chemo if you need any help just ask il try my best. Nicky was one of the ladies who helped me not many people seem to post about Herceptain and perjeta julie
Thought I’d let everyone know. Had scan results today and the scan shows no cancer. That will be three years starting with H and P with docetaxal and three years in September on H and P and tamoxifen. Onc was very positive saying that the majority on Herceptin only appear to be doing well for years. The fact that I have Pertuzumab as well is proving to be helping even more patients and showing to be more effective. He did mention he has a lady clear on Herceptin only for 15years now and many more just behind her. Hope this is encouraging news ladies.

Hi all, sorry I’ve been away such a long time, how’s everyone doing?? Please let me know how your getting on as love to hear the positive news.
My mum is doing well at the moment, she has all her treatment at the local hospital luckily so no treatment they are really happy with her and decided she doesn’t need as many scans as she has been having so hopefully she has one soon as she’s getting a bit ancy she likes to feel they’re keeping tabs on it.
for those that are new and don’t know about mum she has sbc with liver nodes she was supposed to have docetaxol, pertuzumab and herceptin but had an allergic reaction to docetaxol so has only ever had the other too. Shes been having treatment for around 18 months now and the liver is looking loads better they struggle to find the spots on her liver and her breast lump has significantly reduced. She has though had to have a scooter now though as she finds she cannot walk for long due to a lack of energy from the treatment. This makes her absolutely livid lol as she’s 56 and is annoyed she can’t do that much any more

Mum’s just had an app with onc and mentioned she’s got a bad back so they’ve done a blood test for markers today and are putting her in for an mri. With having such good news for quite a while this has scared her now. Her bloods are always great so I’m really hoping that it’s just an aching back and not a sign of nasty things
