Hi my back aches too had bone scan for osteoporosis but it was fine they said it can be side effect of letrazole so maybe h and p cause this too x x x
They’ve now decided she doesn’t need the mri but are gonna put her in for bone scan
Maybe it’s just side effects of the treatments hope she’s ok x x x x
Yeah maybe, have you had the date for your scan yet?
Hiya no I see oncologist next Friday so he will be sorting it then I’m starting to stress already x x
Don’t stress you’ll be great. Mum’s bone scan is Tuesday she’s very nervous, dads taken her away for a week to try forget about it lol

new to the forum but not new to the cancer.
had breast cancer 7 years ago.
secondaries found in lungs and liver in December. Was earth shattering.
have just had no. 5 of doctaxatare, herceptin, and perfecta. No. 6 end of April then continuing on perfecta and herceptin.
have had herceptin before with no or little side effects. Just wondering how side effects for perfecta - I understand everyone is different but just wondering because this time round chemo has knocked me for six dealt much better 7 yrs ago.
conscerned about the listed side effects of hair loss - already have it but would like it back! And the lowering of white blood cells. I would like to go back to work but I work with families and young children and if this is the case about the blood cells I could be putting myself in a vulnerable position.

I’m new to group, I finished chemo part of my regime in March and Ive continued on 3 weekly H and P. I had these side affects during chemo and they are always worse after treatment for about a week, I have an upset tummy including diahorea. Does anyone else suffer? I noticed they are some of the common side affects to the drugs just wondered what others found to take which helps, I’m a runner and long runs have gone out of the window! Thanks Rebecca x
Hi camilla9! Sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis, it’s such a horrible time. I’m still on h&p and stable. I did have a nodule pop up but a specialist lung doctor says it’s a lymph node and they aren’t worried. Scan again this month to see if things are behaving xx
Do glad I found this thread. A doctor did a liver function test and stated I had deranged liver. She hinted it was linked to my bc and to speak with the team. I’m still waiting for the ct staging results. I’ve had one cycle of docetaxel-carboplatin and herceptin and perjeta and I’ve already found that my bc lump is disappearing after just one round. So if anything is up with my liver. This thread has given me hope!!! Xxx
