Progesterone, assorted other hormones and fluffy cake

Janey, it’s made me a bit weepy too.  Just popped  in from the garden to make another coffe and check on you lovely Willows.  No more window cleaning for me today, yesterday’s exertions were quite enough thankyou.  Plus, you have to make the most of  sunshine, you never know when the next lot is going to be, could be snowing tomorrow xx

Afternoon fluffy williows

Oh I have been busy liek the rest of you :)  front lawns cut, again!!  I have tied up my clematis, which I have to say I thought had died, but they are florishing amazingly, not bad for £2.50 each from Aldi (other stores sell them too), watered the garden it is soooo dry.

So now I am going to sit on the patio and enjoy the afternoon sunshine with my latest tapestry and might have to have a glass of el vino

Happy Sunday everyone

Hello lovelies, just popping by hubby’s off for the week now so we’ll be off out and about so I might not be on as much but I will be thinking of you all.
Beth the pics are beautiful what a lovely place you live in xxx
Dizzy have a fabulous time xxx
Janey that’s a wonderful thing your sister is just lovely xxx
Helena you have been busy xxx
Well I’m trying to relax after a lovely day out with hubby and daughter but my very inconsiderate neighbours are doing some very loud building work in thier garden, let’s hope he finishes soon I also get the added bonus of listening to his awful music when he’s not using the whacker machine!!! Blooming neighbours. Love to all xxx

I wonder which numpty got caught out today in the garden, didnt feel that warm with the breeze, oh well I knew that the alo vera I bought for my rads would come in useful one day !!!

Hope you have all had a great day xxx

Oh Helena I hope your not to badly sunburnt :frowning: xx
since the rads lady told me to be careful I’m obsessed with covering myself in sunblock

Ouch Helena! I keep aloe Vera plants in the kitchen for burns. Normally I have to break off leaves and squeeze onto OH’s head if he forgets a hat!
What a wonderful day. I’m not sure if it’s the sunshine or the Anastrazole break but I feel a bit more energised today. Xx

Afternoon all,

I knnnooooowwwww not been around much recently, just spending time trying to get on and ‘rationalise’ things…as you do. So, my mammo is this week, I think Ruby has recently had hers…how did it go? The weather is SO different today, yesterday 24 , today 14 degrees…ah the beauty of the British weather that it can drop 10 degrees in 24 hours! Hope all is well with everybody, I do think of you lot often x

Thinking of you for your mammo, Charys…

Best of luck ladies for mammos…I’m sure you will be fine but its waiting for that Brown envelope to drop through the door …i used to stick mine in my handbag for days before I could face it and open it.
Xxxx

I had my 2nd year Mammo on the 29th March, no results yet, I’m going with the no news is good news! Brown envelope Carolyn!? Did they shove a bill in along with it! ?

My surgeon said Jobey, exactly that…they are flat out busy and the longer you don’t hear the better. If there is nothing to see then you go to the bottom of the pile in terms of priority.

White envelopes here Carolyn…for meficsl stuff…better class of NHS ? ?

That should have said ‘medical’.

Evening fluffies

so after months of waiting, I have my first check up with the surgeon tomorrow. ?. It’ll be the first time I’ve seen anyone other than my GP since the start of November (Ignoring the radiographers) when I saw the oncologist for the first and only time. I’ve been organised and have written down the questions I want to ask, and the stuff I want to mention as I know once I sit in that room I just turn in to this silent ‘yes’ person and forget everything else.

I’m dreading it but looking forward at the same time as there’s tons I want clarification on.

just when I thought I’d never have to take my top off to be manhandled by a stranger again!! Lol

??

Well done Beth being so organised and writing everything down.  I always forget everything I want to ask until after I leave.  Charys, youre a bit ahead of me, my first mammogram is 12th May, Im getting nervous already.  Is your nip stil crusty?  Mine is, no improvement at all.  I’ll have my fingers crossed for you, though it’s the flipping waitas the others were saying xx

Hey Beth, I had my check up, first since rt last Sumer, a couple of weeks ago. I wrote a list and STILL didn’t ask the things on it ! Hope you do much better than me lolol Lesley I would say the crunchiness is about a third better than it was. Still very much there though.

Evening all - just watched programme about the police!
Beth, I hope all goes well tomorrow and Charys for you on Wednesday and Lesley you next month! White envelopes for us too. I’m now getting OH to check post before I do! Waiting is just pants - Rubycat I’ve lost track of who has the big girl pants for sharing out the next few weeks!
I still don’t have a mammogram date but was very very impressed with the surgical review. Lovely warm consultation - including her hands thankfully!
Nice to know we will all be in each other’s pockets virtually. I always feel you are with me when I’m in a consulting room xx

Thinking of you as well for tomorrow, Beth & you all with pending appointments.
Crikey, I’m never as organised for appointments, I just tend to pitch up & take if from there, but my case was quite straightforward.
Anyway, so used to taking my top off now, that at my first year mammo, I realised I was standing totally unconcerned with my top off whilst I waited for the radiographer to check the images…!
love to everyone
