Someone post something tomorrow

Blimey it is quiet on here tonight, assuming everyone is watching Strictly and the X Factor xxx

Hi Helena and everyone xxx
Ohh the public don’t seem to like Alexandra ? I’m glad Mollys still in as she’s made progress each week. I’m now watching David A it’s so beautifully filmed.
We’ve been getting on with the Christmas shopping and I have to keep stopping myself from buying Macsen things ( I’ve brought lots already ? )
Totally wore myself out yesterday and was asleep by 8. 30 so paced myself today and get to spend the day with my daughter tomorrow just chilling.
Rubycat that’s just adorable xxx
Love and hugs to everyone

Well another Strictly shocker but oh my goodness Blue Planet just amazing and I have a thing for penguins and insisted on going to see them at Philip Island when we went to Australia.
Ruby I love that picture. Our poor cat just can’t be enticed outside.
I’ve been doing a Dizzy and making preserves for Christmas, although I’m keeping the one pot of quince jelly my harvest of 4 produced. Work tomorrow but all planned with nice people.
Clair, how lovely to indulge Macsen. I hope this week is kinder workwise.
Wishing you all a peaceful night x

Janey, watch out for what your cat might get up to while being a house cat when you’re out!

He he these are so funny xx

Evening all

thought I’d post a pic of Mac watching his new favourite Christmas advert. It’s the trailer for Dancing on Ice and he absolutely loves it and sits with his nose not far from the screen.

It is definitely the best trailer/advert this Christmas

hope everyone is doing ok. Big hugs all around xxx

Happy December everybody…I see the memes, cartoons and shiny pictures have started in ernest. :catvery-happy:

Sure Helena, any particular theme? (apart from Christmas obviously lol)

Great picture Beth my Mum’s old dog used to watch any ball game. Helena, I’m pinching a bit of time back now and about to head in for last work provided counselling. Bit worried, as a night on my own at home and I slept well without a tablet!! Xx

Ahh love a bit of sparkle xx
Beth such a cutie you have there love him. How are you getting on with your lymphedema and massages etc I’m finding it hard to fit in 4 times a day any tips xxx

Oops I meant the exercises 4 times a day ? the massage is twice a day but sometimes I forget in the morning it gets a bit swollen and tender in the evening I’m my own worst enemy really it’s just with work everything is hectic and I don’t fancy doing it in the staff room ?
Charys good luck with the W M instructions I only use 2 programs ? X x

Really quick pop in, love the sparkles Charys, and Beth, Macs ad is on this very minute,  oh bless him, I love him and I’ve never even meet him xx

Clair

Im doing my massages every morning and if I don’t do it, I feel it by the end of the day. Hubby has been away for a few days so my back hasn’t been done (I can’t reach!) and everything is feeling a bit tender now. I banged my arm the other day and cut it putting the Christmas tree up so I’m watching it with a hint of paranoia in case it triggers off any increased swelling. This last few days I’ve been wearing a support vest and that has helped wth the discomfort - they’re nothing fancy, just ones from M&S.

Having this lump removed on the 27th Dec so going to be interesting to see if that sets it all off again. Hey ho.

keep going with the massages when ever you can, they definitely do work

big hugs to you lovely xxx

?? I love that story Helena ?? xx

I just have to share with you my day I had a meeting with my line manager this morning and I was totally gob smacked he said he’d noticed I’d been upset (last weeks breakdown I think someone spoke to him ) but wanted to say how valued I am and how he thinks that I do a great job and he wants to help on any way he can even to the point that if I feel tired I can ring in and come in a bit later. He was so kind and caring and genuine I ended up in tears again but just the fact he gets it. There are some wonderful people in the world xx
Hope you’ve all had a good day love and hugs xxxxx

Love it Ann ?? xx

Clair, what a lovely man, and how nice to feel supported and appreciated. Now you just need to take him up on that. For example, if you need to do your exercises at work, what arrangements are needed to give you a private space (and time!) to do them? And do they need to make any other adjustments to take account of the lymphedema so you don’t get knocked or overstrained? There must be occupational health issues they need to think about now.

I love the cat and the Christmas tree pictures, somewhere I have a photo of our Christmas tree set up in a playpen when Michael was a baby, nine months and pulling himself up on everything. It was easier to corral the tree.

I’m off to the hospital tomorrow for a follow up appointment and hopefully no nasty surprises from the pathology results. I think they’ve stitched me up with wire wool, the supposedly dissolving internal stitches are painfully poking their way through. Between that and not putting enough stitches in in the first place, I’m wondering if it was the student who did the needlework. But other than the annoying prickles, I’m feeling pretty well recovered from the operation. It’s all still very swollen so Bertha is still a fixture, and I just can’t tell if this time there will be a reasonable match. Fingers crossed, because I’m not volunteering for any more surgery, I’m done.

Loving the sparkles and cats. Dizzy I hope tomorrow goes well and Clair I’m so glad you have the right support. I meet my manager tomorrow. I’m better than I was but shorter days proving impossible! I hope your washing machine is providing sparkling clean clothes Charys! Ruby I’ve missed the post deadline again, but will get sent next week to Oz and Canada. My aunt in Canada lives Simon Drew cards, so I always send them one. Feeling very proud of my girl today. She’s created a metre high gingerbread house that the restaurant is going to raffle for charity.
Sending love and sparkles to all x
