Well that was interesting I’ve either got a viral rash or an allergic rash advice was to take antihistamines and go back next week if it doesn’t clear up . Glad I’m seeing the bc nurse tomorrow it’s just bizarre xxxx
Glad you got it checked out Clair. I think it’s often hard to diagnose rashes, so good to get your BCN to look as well.Is it tomorrow you’re going to look at prostheses? Good luck with that, I know I can’t wait to get rid of Bertha, but it has made a huge difference to me knowing I look okay. This time last year I was permanently wearing a scarf to hide my lopsided look, and I was in the middle of rads and slowly cooking!

Hi Dizzy yep tomorrow is prosthesis day I’m in early which is good , I do hope it does help especially with the lymphedema as that’s still uncomfortable.

Blooming tamoxifen has a lot to answer for !! I do like tiding cupboards even though like you I’m the only one who notices unless I decide to move things about just to confuse everyone ? Xxx

Clair - That really is weird. Why would your rash start on your affected side, that is the question?? Hope you get some answers to day and that’s a nice positive thing ( I think and hope ), having your prothesis fitting.

Charys - Hello flower. Yes, all a bit weird. After so much sleep Mon Tues, thought I’d be sleeped out, but went to bed sleepy at 7pm of my last post Wed, and slept through till Thurs morn ! Ann - Thanks, yeh was a shock to hear about friends wife, another Ann. I’d kept thinking to get in touch and have a walk to see them when I was feeling more “up”. They’ve been very kind to me since moving here, had a couple meals and jolly nights together at theirs. Do you think your husband had done a bit too much “tasting” whilst doing whatever he was supposed to have been doing with his brew, hic ?!!
Think I’ve left my days quota of ??'s. Can’t say I feel any better from my lush juice abstinance, not that I’m an alcoholic. Probably wouldn’t admit to it if I were, but thought it worth a try to see if I felt any better. Need to get out today to replenish rather empty fridge and cupboards and also charge up the not much used car with a run whilst it’s such a lovely clear crisp day.

Hello fluffies ?
So I got some answers today ! my boobies are now and forever will be ultra sensitive and every time I my antibodies kick in it’s highly likely I’ll get the rash back which I’ll need to remember so I don’t panic but my bc nurse said I did the right thing to get it checked that was a big relief.
Then I discovered I’m a totally different bra size than I thought and I couldn’t get my prosthesis fitted today because my lymphedema is so bad. So I’m booked in for lymphedema clinic next week hopefully I can get on top of it then go back for another fitting I did have a try and look and feel and they give much more support than I thought. So it’s not been a total wasted day I learnt a lot.

Hi Claireee - I must have missed some of your posts with ref to your lymphoedema, sorry. So I’m gathering it’s involving your boob area then, as you’ve just mentioned an increase in bra size. I’ve only ever heard of it affecting arms. Well that and your rash results are a shame, but as you said, from your putting a positive slant on your day, you’ve learned more about what’s going on. Helena I’m a smaller fit underneath but a bigger cup but I’m going to get checked again when everything has settled. I’m still eagerly waiting for the post xxx

I’m joining the Robin colour query. Two Xmas cards with actual photos of Robins, both have white feathers under the red. Is it Winter plummage, or adult plummage? Did soomeone settle this earlier on and I missed it? Bird book’s in a box somewhere, but I’ll Google it to satisfy my curiosity. I think I’ve always thought of them just as a red breast on brown, but they’re not are they - both sexes and throughout the year. So much for my observational skills (and memory!!) xxxx
I think they’ve altered the colour on the images Delly, as Ive got a photo one here that looks almost white underneath and red chest. They aren’t they are just a light beigey colour, but the photo has been lightened and brightened…thats my theory anyway.
I think this might answer our questions, the european robin
Afternoon fluffies everywhere
apologies I’ve not been around much lately. Everything remains a bit crazy… Mum seems to be getting a bit weaker week on week; still waiting for the scan results on her husband; my lump is still there but no bigger so roll on the 27th and my lymphedema hasn’t been great this last week or so. On top of that CHRISTMAS IS COMING lol and how I’ve not shouted at someone in the shops I’ll never know. In a couple of words…I’m tired.
Hubbies work do tonight and looking forward to getting my glad rags on and having a change of scenery.

We have 2 daily visiting robins in our garden and they’re so cute. I’m off out to our class Christmas meal tonight and I’m actually looking forward to it I just don’t know what to wear?

Just waiting for strictly tonight too but flicking channels found Mama Mia on itv 3 …it’s a feel good film although apart from having it on dvd …have watched zillions of times before. .guaranteed to cheer up anyone that is down in dumps …purely for the bad singing !!
