Progesterone, assorted other hormones and fluffy cake

I can and I will
Choose faith not fear
Let your faith be bigger than your fear
Choose hope anything’s possible
Sparkle and shine
Believe you can
Little by little, one travels far
Only in the darkness can you see the stars

Guess which is winning so far…xxx

Morning glories! Early for a meeting, so a cheeky log on. Zoe any and all of those!! Helena, I hope you’ve not ventured out on the ice. We are still clear of snow here but bloomin cold. Ann your message sent me right back to being freezing cold and relying on park wardens to ferry us around!
Clair I need to start wrapping. Navy boy on duty at Christmas, so an early celebration for half the family this week. I saw a wrapping “hack” on line,?which is to use an ironing board?! Who knew … chilly hugs to all xx

I think that’s a great quote Helena and hopefully true ! Zoe I hope you have a lovely piece of jewellery to put something inspiring on and it will give you hope to see you through the bad times .

Zoe, there’s this one IMG_20170126_224413.jpg

Hi Zoe what a lovely idea and I love the design of the necklace . How about

? She believed she could so she did ?

Xxxxxx

Well I did it, I managed to get to work today albeit only from 11am-4pm,  took 45 mins each way but I was ok.

I am going to see how things are tomorrow as the weather has improved and temperatures overnight are going to be about 2 degrees, it was -5 last night,  If I am able to I will drive but if not I will be on the bus but not going into town though.

Well done Helena , glad your safely home now xxx

Hellooooo Fluffy Sweetiepies

Last silly sing song should have read “Glowee, Glowee, Glowee. Must be coldee (!!), IN this lovely snow” not “its” this lovely snow.

Zoe - D’ya think we could get Glowee over to N.Z., so we can go and play with the Dolphins, Whales and Manta’s. No idea how to. Praps fix her to a couple of floats and start paddling away with our legs. Or sneekily fasten her to the back end of a Jumbo and have her air towed? ( I’m presuming Glowee’s a she). Any other suggestions appreciated.

I do hope you’re feeling better.

Same goes for your blinkin awful heads, Lush.

After being awake through Thurs, Fri, Sat nights, I stayed awake through to watch Davids Blue Planet Sunday and since then have slept through Mon and Tues, with the odd wake up, but zonked back to sleep. No sleeping aid tabs, no alcohol, nowt. Could have understood just one day, but not two. Was wide awake on here to begin with, at an unearthly hour this mornin,  but now beginning to feel sleepy again, so shalln’t fight it… Guess it’s exhaustion. Think it’s helped, staying away from these bright screens.

If you don’t hear from me for another few days, think you could send a handsome prince, or in my case, beautiful princess to wake me up with a kiss. Beautiful cat even.

Hope you’re all coping with the snow, pressie buying/wrapping and other preps. Loving all your glittery, snowy piccies. Think I might attach an intravenous line to Helena’s chocka block freezer to drip feed me with her famous curry and casseroles.

Have just opened an Xmas card with an enclosed note, from the husband of a couple I’d befriended whilst here, to say his wife passed away suddenly in July, through undiagnosed Lung Cancer. I hadn’t seen or been in touch with them since my/this last mental “crash”, March end, which render me unable to communicate by phone, so I’m shocked and sad. Need to pop him a sympathy letter today. At least sudden is better than prolonged and drawn out, though not so much for the person(s) left to have to cope and adjust to it.

Loadsa love to everyone

Morning fluffies I’m trying really hard not to panic so I need some reassuring please I’ve woken up with a red raised rash all over my good boob !!! Do I leave it and see how it goes or panic and ring the bc nurse ? …
Blimey it doesn’t take much to set me off ? Xxx

Maybe give the BC nurse a ring for advice Claire? It’s very probably nothing sinister but may need treatment - a friend of mine recently had similar and it was cellulitis - needed anti - biotics from GP but did give her a scare. .

Clair, it probably isn’t anything to worry about, but I agree with Jill, put your mind at rest. Normally I’d wonder if it was a reaction to body lotion, or changing your washing powder or something, but being one sided is slightly strange. Anyway, fingers crossed you get some reassurance quickly.

Hello fluffies I’ve stopped panicking now I had my nurse friend look at it and she says it looks like an allergic reaction gave me some antihistamine cream and told me to ring the bc nurse . I’m booked in Friday anyway so can see my consultant then but the rash has now spread up and over to the other side so definitely think it’s viral. That and the fact I feel awful sore throat back ache and headache. Oh I wish I didn’t panic so much I feel daft now thank you for being here lots of love xxxx

todays image, could not resist it

Good even8ng all,

Clair, glad your nurse friend checked your boob out and managed you reassure you.  I don’t blame you for panicking, think we all would, i certainly would have.  Thankfully you haven’t got long to wait until you see consultant on Friday.

Im laid up with a stinking cold, head thumping, throat feels like I’ve swallowed razor blades, temperature and feel weak as a kitten (but not as cute) had to cancel two Christmas lunches, chiro session and hair appointment so far this week so feeling very sorry for myself.  I’m hoping I’m better by Friday as promised to go to Dorset with my friend to keep her company on the long drive there’s and back and support her on a mission of mercy while she’s there.

Its been raining here most of the day so thankfully most of the snow has gone, Just a few piles here and there though next doors snowman is enduring though looking more like a snow baby now.

Right, that’s enough, poor eyes have had enough and time for another lemsip xx

Helllooooo to Dizzy, Delly, Jill and Helena…the other last few names I saw on this page. I hope your Christmas run-up is working out ok. I see you are back to odd sleeping patterns Delly, that must be very dis-orientating.

Good evening lovely fluffies,
I returned from work today to the house smelling like a brewery & the kitchen floor all sticky. It turned out, the hubs had spilt 4 gallons of his home brew ? all over the kitchen floor, so yay!!!?
Love the cat pic, Helena ?
Sorry to hear about your friend, Delly.
?to everybody
ann xxx

Evening all. Ann, I hope your house soon loses its beery smell, what a disaaaaaster. Lesley I hope you’re soon on the mend. You too Clair and I hope you get some answers on that rash. Only a quick check in today. Vertigo has started to come back, so a bit swoony and hoping will pass. We have our work do tomorrow night, so may have to avoid a gin! I see the oncologist for I think my only follow up on 22nd, so will ask what to do. Love to all xx

Just come back from a lovely evening out with an old university friend, we met at uni in 2002 and have been friends since, we meet up a couple of times a year and it is always so good.

Well amazingly most of the snow has gone with all the rain we have had today, it snowed a bit this evening so it is a little slippy under foot or may be that was the cocktail that we had!!
