Hi,
Looking for some information. I’d like to have my radiotherapy tattoos removed. One, because they look like blackheads to me and two because I think it will help me psychologically you erase as much evidence of BC as possible.
Has a anyone had Lazer tattoo removal to get rid of the dots ? And did it work ??
Hi @Vibby
I’m sorry you haven’t had a reply to your question yet. You may find this thread on the topic from a few years ago useful, although someone may have more up to date information for you: Radiotherapy Tattoo Dots Removal - Life after a breast cancer diagnosis / Recovering from treatment - Breast Cancer Now forum

Seem to remember a thread about this but it must be from about 2 years ago - don’t know if you’ve tried searching on here xx
I had tiny dot tattoos too and didn’t like them after treatment. I found thinkagaintattooremoval.com while looking into options, and it gave me a clearer picture of what removal might involve.
Laser worked well for me, but it took a few sessions and wasn’t painless. It’s worth checking out cost, healing time, and if the ink’s deep or shallow, mine faded faster than I expected.
