I have just come back from the hospital after seeing onc re scan results. GOOD NEWS apparently the disease in my liver has significally reduced and so have the nodes in my lung. So xeloda has done the trick. I am so relieved as this was my third lot of chemo and if this didn’t work I didn’t know where I would go from here.
I have to have 3 more cycles of xeloda but the side effectd havn’t been too bad for me so I don’t mind too much

Had my daughter’s options evening a couple of weeks ago - took ages seeing all the teachers but it was interesting. You’ll probably need a drink when you get back from that anyway, lol!

Of course i don’t mind you asking!! I had 6 cycles of it before I had a scan I am now having another 3 cycles I don’t know whether I will be having another scan after these or not. I am going to ask when I see the onc in a couple of weeks time
