Have to say, im mightily impressed with your tent! Makes my biscuit- crumb infested place I call home look a tad disgusting, think I will tidy up and possibly make a new creation for the gallery, think Tracey Emin’s ‘My Bed’ with less glamour and more grit - literally more grit, must remember to leave my wellys outside.
Right, must stop working (playing on the laptop really as you can see!) and start packing - going camping for real tomorrow in the New Forest, yippee! Yes the weather is rubbish, but it will still be a nice break for me, DH and dog!
DH accidently upset me this morning - he was so happy about the weight he has managed to lose recently, and I of course seem to have gained every pound he has lost, so that I now weigh more than he does, so I got a bit over sensitive about how fat I am. But when I got upset he cried - really shocked me, he never does that and said he is just so happy that I am still here, that a few extra pounds just don’t matter. I don’t think we always realise just how big a deal this is for them too, and he has been so good at trying to take care of me. He even threatened to cancel the holiday yesterday because I had a sore mouth and he was worried about me getting ill while we were away, so have been frantically swishing pineapple juice and everything else I can think of to clear it up (slowly improving thank heavens!).
Wow projectwoman when I read your post I was moved to tears, we just don’t realise how this affects our loved ones, my OH cried when I broke the news of my BC ,I have never seen him cry and we have been together 30 years !Sometimes I am so caught up in my own fears and feelings I have n’t always considered him, but from now on I will , we have shared our life s ups and downs and this is just one of those things we will fight together.

not been around for a while - we hired a motorhome and went to Oban, Skye and Uist. it was great to get away and have a good break. Been back a couple of days, but busy with work and trips. Any way, just to say it was nice to meet some of you in Birmingham - seems along time ago now.
PW - your post was very touching and reminds us that it is hard for partners too. By the way, having met you in B’ham, I didn’t think you looked fat at all. How is the weekly chemo going?

I was in hospt Weds - just for a change - my white neutrowotsits came back in force but they trampled over my red ones and i nearly had blood trans, just about managed to escpe but could still be on cardd if red bloods dont come back - anyway I have a rash/leakage thing on my wrist from last taxotere, got given some cream with steriods in - can u get a reaction to your face from this? My cheeks are bright red, and puffy - and i am sooo hot but temp is 37 degrees… anyone else had this - u could fry an egg on my face whats going on now!!! Shar x

Do you think it’s helpful to send someone with cancer a book called “Say No To Cancer”? TOO BLEEDIN’ LATE, MATE! Accompanied by unsolicited “advice” on what to eat and what to do and how to live my life.
Letter to go with the book that’s being sent back has been written, and book going back in the postbox in the morning on my way to Race for Life, but I’d much rather shove it on the fire!

Off to bed, had a busy day and need to keel over. Got Race For Life tomorrow. Don’t think “race” will have anything at all to do with it, and I’m thinking of wearing a full waterproof. Do you think it’d restrict movement too much to wear the wetsuit I bought a few weeks ago? Seems like it’s going to chuck it down so a wetsuit might be the most appropriate thing!
