Standing outside the dark, dark woods.

I know, every night I think I’m so tired I’ll sleep and every night my mind goes into overdrive and I’m still up in the wee small hours.

Ask for some more Bon Jovi that was fab!

We’ll have to make sure everyone has extra blankets from LiFs sheep tonight and watch the campfire doesn’t set fire to all the remains of party poppers and silly hats scattered around the place xx

Evening,

Whoop to the Moscow Mule, vodka, ginger & lime if i remember correctly.

I think i may have to retire to bed as i keep tripping over everyones handbags :frowning:

You ok Sarah? Sleep tight xx

Hi campers
Have just got in after staying out late for the first time in about 6 months… Just catching up with the music bits
Definately Deep Purple, followed by Rush, (spirit of radio is my choice). Then Reasons to be cheerful by the wonderful Ian Dury. I play that as loud as it will go on my iPod when I am being cannulated. Always makes me giggle.
For our 25th wedding anniversary we had a Deep Purple tribute band, they were awesome!!!
Marygrace, sorry to hear about BF. What an eejit!

MaryGrace,

Am ok, have decided a quick hot choc round the campfire before bed with one of Lif blankets

Hope you are ok & sleep well tonite too.

Hi Sarah,

Love reasons to be cheerful

Sarah, Try it with Cointreau - hope you sleep well , LiF’s blankets are sooo soft!

Love Ian Drury - great choice

xxhxx

MaryGrace- A Moscow mule was a vodka with ginger beer and lime!Well ginger’s good when you’re on chemo and go heavy on the vodka. Never been able to drink much but if we’re going to be blamed for it anyway and it’s only virtual may as well have a few!!!
Very popular late sixties.

Love Cointreau as well!
Meant to say sorry about Boyfriend Marygrace!
Going to bed now- lots to do tomorrow before I start resting on Monday- well I’ll let you know if I need to rrest. x x x

There’s probably media tutting. Look at that lot in the woods with their wild parties. That’s what’s causing the bc numbers to rise, quite missing the virtual nature of the parties here. Does make you feel like you have to justify yourself. I’ll be imagining people nudging each other every time I have a glass of wine (whispers “see that’s why she got bc”) x

How’s the party going? I’ve given up on trying to sleep for a while, and am going to have a hot version of the Moscow Mule, only with rum, since hot vodka sounds horrible.

Cheryl

Good grief what a racket!

There was I at the start of this all alone in a desolate field, with No one for company (apart from our old friend WoeIsMe). And now I’m dodging merkins handbags, booze bottles and purple boas!!

Anyone would think it was a party not a terrible disease that we’ve all brought on ourselves!!

Pass the bucks fizz, it goes best with breakfast
Xxx

Morning campers! SCACO that sounds like an excellent idea for the all night party Angels. I think most people are still crashed out cuddled up in LiFs blankets xx

Morning lovely ladies!
The toast’s made and coffee available if required!
The birds are making more racket this morning than we did last night, am wondering if they know summat we don’t?
I hope you all slept ok and Norberte’s laptop survived the night once again.

Morning. Of course the radio came on and woke me once I’d finally managed to sleep soundly. Hang the toast, didn’t we order a decent selection of pastries, croissants and cinnamon buns?

Cheryl

My head hurts. Three pints of Pride and I’m plastered…

Note to self: stay off the keyboard when pissed!

Morning campers,

Great party

Coffee & toast most welcome Helen.

Cm hope your head is ok soon :frowning:

Hope all my fellow campers/revellers/breast angels have a good day, i may need a nap this afternoon after all that partying.

We seem to have lost Peachez, Sophie & Tracey, hope you are ok & are just sleeping off the effects of last nites party

Morning All,
Have you room for another adventurer in the woods please? I’m an experienced Girl Guider and brownie with lots of badges. I’ve read this thread with interest and amusement but so far had not needed to venture in. I’ve been forced here from the land of 'thisisn’trreallyhappeningtome’by a visit in the night from the Docetaxel witch. She made off with my right eyebrow while I was sleeping and left some nasty hexes.
Generous reward offered for the capture of said Docetaxel witch and the return of said eyebrow.

I thought I spotted something small and furry scuttling off into the distance, must’ve been your eyebrow. Unfortunately they often run around in pairs so it’s possible its mate will go looking for it soon.

Sue, if you have a knitting badge you’ll find the craft yurt on the edge of the clearing and the merkin patterns are out.

Many thanks,
I have, in my trusty rucksack, a knitting badge circa 1980s and a slightly dogeared orienteering badge from around the same time. Brown owl would be proud.

Hi Sue,

welcome to the woods am so glad you have that knitting badge, more knitters required as we are flying through these merkins, am hoping said eyebrow hasnt made it to craft tent to hide as god knows where it could end up

Brown owl, ahhh that brings back memories, i was a pixie & wore my uniform with pride, orienteering will come in handy too as now & again it is possible that one of us gets tempted by the bad gremlins to the wrong track & need help & guidance to get back on to right path.

Much Love
