Anyone need me to do some more baking?
(And I’m due to be on the radio (AGAIN!!!) at 12:50 today, so I’ve got my best media voice plugged in, and I will be giving autographs later!
Sorry to hear that buckets, Ginger beer, cushions, and general TLC have been in order recently. Will be on nurse duty till Monday! SCACO, hope cons app went ok. I’ve had aches and pains there throughout chemo, which I was warned in advance I might experience.
Off for a jolly family get-together this weekend, before final Tax on Monday. Will be with you in spirit folks. Have a good weekend, lots of sleep, positive thoughts etc to all, xxx

from 2:38.30 for a few minutes. I hadn’t actually heard that first clip!
Great interview CM!
I actually spent a small fortune having my hair cut and coloured this morning knowing that I will lose in just a few weeks time, but it wasn’t long enough in the first place to be of much use to anyone else. Its great that you are able to do something worthwhile with yours!
Hi all
Thanks for all your well wishes, just back from hosp and, as suspected, nothing to worry about. Just general aches and pains. My consultant is V good and has said happy to see me whenever i’m worrying: that’ll be weekly then!
Hope those in the Sick Tent are feeling a bit better.
Love to all xx
SCACO.
Am so pleased all is ok, was crossing & wishing for you all day ( from back of sick tent).
Lots of Love

Phew that’s relief then SCACO. So pleased for you and great that you could get it checked out. See you in the Jingling Merkin later.
Hope everyone with buckets is feeling a bit better now. Cyber hugs <<>> xx
Wha’ ya mean later??
I’m already planted at the bar and enjoying sheveral sherries!

Mine’s a dry amontillado, ta very much.
There’s a pot of tea and special ginger cake (the one made with a cup of honey) for those who feel bilious at the thought of alcohol today.
Cheryl
SCACO - excellent news. Maybe you could just make a weekly appointment and then cancel if you’ve nothing to discuss?!!!
I was back up the chemo ward this afternoon as PICC wouldn’t flush through when OH re-did the dressing etc at lunchtime. Not actually whilst we were eating lunch, but just after. When Bargain Hunt finished…
Anyhow, the chemo nurse thinks it was the blue valve on the end that was at fault, so changed it, much arm swinging (mine, not hers, though she could have kept me company), and it both flushed and bled beautifully - better than it has for the last few weeks. In fact, it didn’t want to stop, which was a bit worrying as it should be a vacuum when clipped… but another flush and it stopped leaking back again. So, now I have to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn’t bleed by itself… one extreme to the other!!!
My friend’s mum was in having chemo (she’s fortnightly for stomach cancer), and my friend was there to pick her up, so we had a good long chat, finalised Crufts arrangements (she’s giving me a lift) - so very worthwhile visit!!!

Taking a long time to get served in the Jingling Merkin tonight, the place is stowed out. Is that SCACO dancing on the tables with Cheryl? Really, what will the media make of it all! Hope the sickbay has emptied and the others join us for a Ginger tea at least xx
Hiya All,
So pleased to hear Scaco’s shoulder has been seen and it’s ok.
I hope to be joining with the revellers down JM for a peppermint cordial sometime this evening, as feeling slightly less like traffic light now.A short nap turned into v long snooze this afternoon, hope the snores didn’t disturb anyone
Hope Sarah and Jane are feeling a bit better too.
lots of hugs &love to all.

I’ve been working like a normal non bc person this week. Never thought I’d be that pleased to go to work!! Quite took my mind off it all. As I’m back waiting again (re-excision Day minus 12 and counting). Strangely (or perhaps not) all my aches and pains and even sore underarm are better). Could be complete coincidence but I half think it was just writing a report and taking my mind off it. Anyway “honey’s I’m home!” so all the more reason to head to the JM… (in reality I have gone right off alcohol, coffee and chocolate and am craving fruit, has my subconscious decided they’re bad for me??) xx
JUst pooped in for a Moscow mule! Feeling much better, just been out for dinner - which I ate -even managed the caramel cake with ice cream!!! So will be on hand in sick tent wielding buckets, cold cloths and scaring away the gremlins. Would sing you a nice Scots ballad but I’m a terrible singer!I’ll go and look out my sporran/merkin and bagpipes(to scare away the really bad gremlins) and be back in a jiff!

JM is going to be busy tonight. I’ll get my sleeves rolled up and get behind the bar. A good day for me today so will be patrolling woods with my flame thrower later to keep gremlins and nasties at bay. Hope the sleep fairy does her magic for everyone tonight.x
Hi All,
pleased to report that flushing has gone & sickness too so am on my way too jingling merkin
Sarah.xx
Surely flushing follows sickness? Boom, boom!
Margaret, if you’ve got a songbook for the ballads, we can run to 2 or 3 part harmony. Any accompanists out there?
Cheryl
Hi Cheryl,
Think Margaret said she’s be playing bagpipes as well as singing (and wearing a kilt and merkin combo). There is never a dull moment down in the woods is there! x
Hi
I am perched on a bar stool in the JM. I have stuffed my face on creamed leeks and pig and am in a jolly mood. Look, can you see me waving ladies? I had to have a nap this afternoon so made up for it tonight
