Shhhhhh, what a night at the JM! I’ll tidy up and wash the glasses quietly while you’re all kipping. Glad Sarah you are feeling better, and Scaco - great news. Margaret, if that’s your wig in your photo then it’s darned good and really suits you. Winner…
OOOh, what’s this strange tartan furry thing I’ve found under a bar stool?? Hmmmmm…
its a beautiful sunny day in the woods Hope everyone had an enjoyable evening at the JM & thank you PeacheZ for clearing up after our late night frolics.
Hope everyone is well & Se’s are being kind, my steroids have definitely kicked in, wide awake most the night & eldest daughter definitely benefited as she had Mums taxi available for 3 am pick up from nightclub although am worried younger children may pay for tired grumpy Mum today so maybe a nap in one of the yurts later.
it’s a delicate SCACO unzipping the tent this morning - who knew that ginger beer could be such fun!!
Margaret - i think i have accidently walked off with your merkin, at least i think it’s yours as is tartin, hope you haven’t been too cold.
Been as we now have a set of bagpipes at the campsite thinking this might be an inventive way to use the ‘hot air’ SE from our friend FEC. Being totally crude now, I’m finding that the lack of hair in the lady garden area is making said air much more vocal than normal so maybe i don’t need to fit a bagpipe, i can just tune my bum.
The bagpipes out to be really useful for seeing off gremlins and witches, especially if we can find a claymore to go with them. I mean, would you hang around for a bald woman swinging a claymore while someone’s playing bagpipes? Considering what old ladies can do with their walking sticks and shopping bags…
Well I was a very good girl last night and stuck to PG. At least I thought I was being good until someone pointed out that rather than PG tips, it was Pinot Grigio! A very fun night with a friend, quite impromptu so all the more fun. But felt a little delicate this morning. What a lightweight.
Scaco, I know exactly what you mean abput the amplification and increased incidence problem !!!
Embarassed my grandaughter(16) yesterday lolol All of her friends come around here because she lives with me so they all know me and Linsey had been quite worried last week- must have looked worse than I felt and did have couple of bad days, so Lindsey’s friend wanted to come in and see me when they dropped Linsey home. I answered the door, totally hyper after being out for meal and feeling brand new, wearing wig which had slipped up and had a point at top of head and with a manic grin on my face! Both their faces were a picture!!!I couldn’t stop laughing!Especialy when Sophie started telling me how inspirational I was and Lindsey said- Well you look better, granny!
If the found merkin is purple tartan with hints of red and sky blue – it’s mine! Not actually in great need yet so I’ll pick it up when I can
X X X Margaret
Seriously though, feel I can face the rest now knowing I can have 2 good weeksout of three! Glad to have all your company though. That was me blowing my nose not the bagpipes. Here We Go
WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Let the wind blaw high Let the wind blaw low
Through the woods in ma kilts Ah’ll go
A’ the gremlins shout HELLOOOOOO
Watch oot she’s goat some flamethrowers!!!
Rofl Margaret lovely mental images of your granddaughters face (just wait til she - preferably with friends - encounters the tartan merkin drying on the radiator some time)! Imagining you playing your bagpipes right now whilst waving your flamethrower. No gremlin would dare to show its face!! X
Evening All,
Traffic light changes are reducing in number and we’re currently stuck on Amber here - long may that last (pleeeease)
Rotflmao over images of bagpipes and merkins making off into the woods together (any ideas why brain and fingers are refusing to co-operate)
I must admit I enjoyed watching Cheryl and Scaco dancing on the tables last night! What was in the Ginger beer??
Hope we’re all feeling better & it would appear the clock chime thro’ the night has temporarily stopped here! {I wonder how ;)}
May we all sleep peacefully with a visit from the sleepthrough fairies and all gremlins have been terrified away by Margaret’s bagpipes!
Lots of love
Helen xx
Evening woodsfolk,
I am really enjoying the bagpipes tonight and I hope that everyone is feeling better. It’s a very positive vibe in the woods. Perhaps the lovely sunshine that filtered through during the day has banished gremlins also. I haven’t much energy to do more than toe tap along to the tune but love being here all the same.
I hope lots of goodnightssleep fairy can stay through the night and keep us all company.
Sue
Evening all, nicely chilled here tonight… Maybe we’ve all had too many wild nights in the JM of late and we’re all happy just to relax round the campfire drinking Ginger Beer xx
Quiet night last night!!! Must have been the gremlins and bad elves night off! Also do you think a few of us had chemo same week we’re all in halfway house tent?
Think I am – slept all day Fri- hyper in evening and out for dinner.
Saturdsy - clothes shopping with grandaughter and shattered at night!
Went back to bed after lunch and slept until dinner- made for me- and still yawning my head off now!!!
Don’t even have the puff to blow the bagpipes!
