Beam67- yes I feel guilty everyday that I’m not going to be able to give my little one the full attention she needs and most of the care will be in my husbands hands as well as everything else he has to do, but she wont know any different or remember this so i have to be all me me me right now so that im around to watch her grow up. must be difficult when your children are older and watching you go through it. they’re maybe being typical lads and not knowing how to express what they feel or know what to do but you do need to be a bit selfish as hard as it may be and focus on kicking this cancers ass, your boys may be burying their head in the sand a little as a way of coping but until the chemo starts and you physically look and feel unwell they may surprise you how they react.
