Clothesā¦my body shape has changed, my body image has changed too. Yesterday I wore an old favourite dress - not too tight, nice v neck, swingy skirt. Left home feeling good. Poor ol sis then tried to wipe away with her finger what she thought was a speck of dust - one of the rads tattoos! So I spent the rest of the day with a cardi buttoned up to my neck thinking it must be hugely visible! It isnāt of course, just another minor insecurity to deal with 
Jelly, have a wonderful day. 29 years ago to the day I was a young blushing bride. Today Iām not so young but still blushing furiously thanks to chemo hot flushes! More importantthatāve young handsome man that was by my side is still here ( albeit not so young) as we sit lazily in bed eating malteasers. Romantic as ever and both with our bald heads reflecting the spring sunlight!
Thank you JCJ for letting everyone know my post vanished. I was beginning to be a bit paranoid! As it is Iāve done a virtual, Star Trek style transportation onto the train until my next chemo forces me to retire to bed!

What with wedding frocks, posh holiday frocks, clothes too big/too small/too old, I think we should ask Gok Wan (altogether now - bless him!) to sort us out!
I need pretty shoes that are waterproof and easy to walk in, the ārightā bra, and sexy but comfy trousers. Do you think he might do a Clothes Show in Morecambe???

In a happier place today woo hoo think it was all to do with my independence soooooooooo while I was delighted that I am to receive help re the plane etc it made me annoyed that I do need help (not bc related). Really struggle to accept help, pain psych and myself had many an interesting discussionā¦obviously still canāt get my head around thisā¦both daughters gave me a row yesterday at the same time so some tears shed and clearer head, well kinda??
Am my own worst enemy.
Sooooooooo will be leaving the Orient Express in the early hours of tomorrow morning, for another adventure

Iāve done it, Iāve finally done it. Three dry days in a row and I thought today was the day so Iāve finally done it! Iāve given the grass itās first cut of the year. Iām always wary about an electric mower and damp/wet grass.
It doesnāt look good, itās by no means a lawn, rather a place of some grass, lots of clover, loads of dandelions and other weeds but it is about 9 inches shorter than it was. Also 9 inches shorter than next doors! 
Hoping I can now cut it once a week, weather permitting and keep it looking reasonable. My son will also be pleased as he did it for me all last summer when I was unable to and now heāll be able to concentrate on his own garden.
So Iām on the smug bench with my cup of tea and slice of cake
