Cough cough cough cough sneeze
Today I have read the small print that came with the new phone. Turns out that I need to use it more to make it cheaper than the last phone. Shouldn’t be difficult.:smileyhappy: It’s just that little bit bigger than the last one which I didn’t like at first but it still fits in my pocket. It makes it much more easy to text so I like it now. It’s not as robust though so I shall have to be a little more careful with it.
Hope you are enjoying your time on the “baby” bench Katy and that they are not tiring you out too much. My newest GD is under the weather today, teeth we think, just whinging and wanting her Mum. Can’t put her down, just wants to be cuddled by Mum, I was not a good enough substitute.:smileytongue:
JCJ - I hope you didn’t go to work today. If you are “cough cough cough sneeze”, you should have been at home, not trying to carry on regardless. And I’m a fine one to talk as I go to work even if I have to crawl there (slight exaggeration!). Hope you feel better soon.

Going to have haircut today as I have a mop on my head at the moment, then off to opticians to have eyes tested, why does it always take sooooooooooooo long…
Ordered new Lynn garments phoned doc’s to make sure I get the right ones this time, the ones I have just now have a knitted top which is lovely and soft BUT it keeps slipping down my arm which is no use whatsoever, hopefully this time will get the right ones, fingers crossed xx
Feeling much improved now, thank you. The snot fountain has more-or-less finished and I’m not coughing very much now either. Got away lightly this time.
Of course I went to school, FF! 
We had spent last week b**ching about a colleague who is ALWAYS off sick straight after a holiday, and being very aware that I will need at least 3weeks off school, hopefully sometime soon, I didn’t want to take the p!
Had an observed lesson today. I was very anxious, because the last one was pants, but this time they agreed how brilliant I am! 
I had to get petrol on the way home, so I scoured the garage for some little treat to celebrate (WANT ICE CREAM! WANT CHOCOLATE! :() All I could find that I could have/even remotely wanted was a packet of fruit pastilles. Ate the lot and now I feel a bit sick! Greedy pig?! 
Thought you would have gone to work JCJ even as I was saying I hoped you hadn’t! Glad you are feeling better now. Fruit pastilles…Yummy. You will be able to gorge on chocolate and ice cream after your op, so look forward to that day. Glad that your worth has been recognised in the classroom. :smileyhappy:
Haircut. Mop on head. Yes, that rings a bell. Had an appt. on the 14th May which I had to cancel and my hair is totally out of control now. I will leave myself a note to remind me to make another appt. Why do I now need to leave myself notes when I used to remember things?

Well hair is cut, a little shorter than norm but I like it:smileyhappy:! New glasses ordered will get them on Sun, have gone a little funky and added ORANGE to the frames, made a very young guy stand for ages while I chose them, oh dear…
Have gone totally mad today, hoovered, cleaned windows, lifted up things and dusted etc so everything spotless, had breakfast, went for a shower then had to go and lie down hahaha!!

GD is more herself today but still not 100%. As I am looking after her tomorrow am while daughter goes to Aquafit I hope she is back to her usual happy self.
Been to nearby town (40 mile round trip) today with daughter and GD to buy her (GD) some new clothes. She keeps growing out of the ones that she has! Thought I might buy some new undies at that famous seller of underwear but they didn’t have my size in the ones that I wanted.
Yep sooooooooooo annoying when you make up your mind to buy something and shop doesn’t have any grrrrrrrrr!

I’ve felt so nauseous today, again - and I can’t blame it on overdoing the housework!! Won’t be going swimming tonight, as that makes me feel sick even when I start off fine! 
I may go for a walk later, instead, as it’s such a lovely day (and forecast to be a wet and cold weekend - of course, our Y6s are off on a residential activity weekend! - sooo glad I’m not going with them!!)
I would like to finish planting up my garden tubs, but bending makes the ickyness worse. Actually gave in and took an anti nausea tablet in school this afternoon. Didn’t make any difference at all!

Wow, glasses were quick, hope they are ok and that you don’t have the problems that I did. I should have been more insistent on a new prescription earlier but hindsight is a wonderful thing! (Just to mention… luminous pink and orange don’t actually match). :smileywink:
Weather is totally peculiar at the moment. Yesterday was so muggy it was horrible. Today they’ve said thunderstorms, torrential rain and flash floods. What we’ve got is muggy again, intermittent rain, every half hour or so large raindrops that last about 2 minutes and then it’s fine again. A good thunderstorm would at least clear the air but I can do without any flooding.
TGIF. Looking forward to the weekend, no work, new books to read. BUT I have a spare bedroom that I can’t get into as it is so chock-a-block with STUFF. I should/must do something about it. Hopefully I will wake up in the morning full of enthusiasm for a good clear out.
Oops, forgot to say smallest grandaughter is totally back to her usual smiley self. Thank goodness.

Yes the camels will be with us for MMU3 but not with GD and me though knowing them I’m sure they will be hovering in the background somewhere just don’t want them to be a bad influence on my GD, you know what they’re like…remember them hoofing it up and down the corridors in the middle of the night at MMU1???

No, KTC, orange and pink are NOT a match, not even through orange glasses! I hope the weather improves drastically before Monday, or you’ll see M as it usually is and realise how lucky we were for MMU1 & 2! Been p.ing it down here for the last 18 hours! Glad I did manage to plant up my garden tubs on Thursday, despite nausea.
I can’t make up my mind whether to settle on the kn******* bench or fidget on the Jittery bench. Two hospital appointments next week, in 2 days. Monday’s is with onc, so of course I have the biannual boob pain panics!
Ah, yes, forgot you’re going to M with your GD on Monday. Definitely no camels there. Think they might be down my way as I’ve heard a lot of police sirens today! I was told that it can take a few days for your brain to “catch up” with the change in a glasses prescription. If they’re not “right” in a week Katy, go back and complain.
So did I wake up full of enthusiasm for a good clearout? No… I didn’t, I’m afraid the books just had to be read and tennis had to be watched. Maybe tomorrow…
I seem to have avoided all the rain and storms that were forecast. It did rain last night but nothing out of the ordinary and today has been sunny and warm. I have changed the bed and washed all the bed linen today and that has dried nicely on the line.
Woke up yesterday on the “my throat feels a little ouchy” then as the day progressed “how many times can I sneeze???” bench. Then onto “full snotty nose” bench so have copied you JCJ, obviously wanted the sympathy and attention…

AW Katy. Watch out! Bucket full of sympathy coming your way! I hope your snot fest ends as quickly as mine did. Although, it seems to be back again today - just a bit.
I’ve actually managed some gardening AND cleaned most of the windows (the lazy way: with a sheepskin DooDah and a squeegee, like the professionals use for the outside - but with a bit less water!) today, without feeling sick - it’s incredible how refreshing that rare occurrence is! Time to slump on the smug bench for half an hour until it’s time to finish getting the roast dinner.
Aah, Katy you know me too well. Of course I sat on the CBA bench, until I moved to the reading bench. I realised that if I shut the bedroom door then I wouldn’t be able to see the mess but then I found that I can’t actually SHUT the door because of all the STUFF in the way.:smileyembarrassed: Tomorrow…I WILL make a start tomorrow…promise! I have however shredded another load of papers and cleaned the kitchen and bathroom.
Hope your cold gets better quickly and also hope you have good weather in M. If not, at least you can do research into bad weather things to do in case we need them in August!
JCJ, pleased that you have felt better today, I hope it continues. Gardening and window cleaning. Another two things that I ought to be doing. I hope your appts. go well this week. Ask someone for better anti-sickness meds perhaps?
