What a good idea, sadly I won’t be able to make that date. I have also found breastcancergenetics.co.uk/ very helpful and thought anyone else unable to attend on 24 April may also find it useful. They also have a 24 hour helpline which is fantastic.
I’m new to this site and I am going to go being BRCA1, living in Ireland I find the forums are not as good as in London especially for young people so am travelling over for this.
LOL dont think ill be wearing the pink hat or the pink wig… ill change my pic though so you know what i really look like and maybe ill wear a red carnation LOL.
That’s a lovely photo! I look forward to meeting you.
I was using the guidelines for using a different name as new to doing this website stuff and now I think I just feel more comfortable using my own!
See you there. Maybe I’ll have that red carnation too ha! I went to one of these forums at the Royal Marsden many years ago and found it quite daunting but feel more confident now - if that makes sense.
adele if your going to stay somewhere close by can you let me know as my friend stays in islington and not sure about communting times, would be happy to share if you were.
Hi Lulu It was great meeting you Adele and Jan too. I so enjoyed the day. I would like to thank Breast Cancer Care for organising it too and hope to do it again so I can see you all again soon.
