Hugs ck wishing you and everyone a restful night x
Isis just that treatment of some kind needs to start within 31 days of diagnosis? I was diagnosed on 9th August surgery on 11th results on 30th still waiting for appointment to come through for first oncology meeting. Ideally because of work commitments I don’t want to start chemo until after 25th October
Annie that might be why my consultant said I may have to sign then x
Morning all x
Cherry I agree go away for a little while andbloads of activity on here but I love to hear from everyone.
It’s very overcast here and I have found this op tougher than last one do just had a strip wash and put on clean pj’s and will stay in them for the rest of the day ?
Hope you all have s fab day x
Hi ladies
Feeling a lot better today and hoping to go into work for a few hours. It will be strange as last time I went in was Sunday and since then I have had first chemo. I’m going to wear my woolly hat, after all it is winter…kind of makes it look better.
CherryB
We just don’t know from one day to another but it’s always good to be checked over for peace of mind. I felt better even after any medication so I guess it was a minor panic attack.x
SueW
Enjoy a day of chillax in your Pjs. It’s been a tiring week!xx
Ali49
Thanks for the hugs.

Is it difficult to get over to Maggie’s Centre at Christie hospital? Im hoping to go one day this week, maybe tomo for hair loss support and Tai Chi or Weds/Thurs for yoga or relax and breathe session.x

So many ‘dodgy’ people about I used to write to jim’ll fix it on a regular basis too x
I read our chats and laugh out loud which is fine in private but when you in an appointment waiting room you do get funny looks but I don’t care laughter is good and constantly reading bits to my hubby who thinks we are all mad x
Don’t remember swimming one either ? Just the art shows and animal shows x
Perhaps we should go back to benny hill lol x has anyone seen les Dawson’s daughter on celeb dating show she is funny like her dad x
We can all laugh in person when we through the other side and have our meet up ??? I am sure it will be a fab way to celebrate x
Perhaps my blue boob will finally have faded lol I thought it was nearly gone but when I look underneath it’s stil the colour of the bloo block in my toilet x
Cherry slightly bonkers - how rude … I am totally bonkers ha ha ha x embrace the madness x
I know what you mean about the ads, they are all over social media too!
We all need a good laugh, most of my family and friends are bonkers with a dark wicked sense of humour and that has really helped
You forgot fake bake wotsit glow ? If we got to go drag we may as well do the whole thing x
Hiiiii ladies
I have 2 friends The Let Loose Ladies who are a drag duo! They will do our charity night and we can so wig themed!!! They have done a few at mine. Their wigs are amazing! CherryB…you could be their trio!!!
Anyway
I’ve been in work for 5 hours just sat chatting to whoever comes in. It’s been lovely to be out again without feeling too fatigued but time to go!
I wore my hat! One customer said ‘Is it a bad hair Day?’ Wasnt sure how to respond as didn’t want to lie so just told him In having Chemo! Ooops, luckily he didn’t seem to embarassed!
Another said ’ Hiya, how are you? I didn’t realise all this has happened to you!!! Of all people it shouldn’t have happened to you!!!’ Erm, I’m not going anywhere my Love and I don’t think it should happen to anyone my dear!
It is difficult knowing what to or what not to day without embarassing anyone!!!
How should I respond ladies??xxx
Hi CK glad you are feeling better. I think there is a Maggies centre at Clatterbridge but we also have some things on offer at Aintree and at the linda Mc Cartney centre at Liverpool Royal. My BCN said she wants me to go for Reiki every Tuesday before chemo on a wednesday. She said it helps with side effects. I hope it does! I also bought a lovely bobble hat Cherry - we had the weather for it today too! Hope everyone is feeling ok xx
Glad that you have had some time at work CK it sounds like you are handling the questions pretty well to me. Just be yourself.
I bought my first hat yesterday. Mine is a lovely bobble hat with detachable fur bobble. Many different colours available. Not quite cold enough yet but as most of my treatment will be during the winter it makes sense to have a nice selection of wooly hats. They are good because you can pull them down over your ears.
We all react very differently, I don’t think that losing my heir is a big thing to me but I won’t know until it has gone. I am a bit bothered because I have 2 moles on the crown of my head and wonder how awful they will look. I am glad that so far I have kept the majority of my affected breast even if it is a bit lumpy now.
