CK ,I’m going to have to fill in the gaps on the rota with on line support !!! The mornings are the worst for me . Storm has passed over now and blue sky appeared but just put my heating onto autumn settings!!
Jill. Are you near a Maggie’s Centre?x
Glad things are looking more positive today. It makes such s difference if the sun shines ?.
Sue
I hope that the drain in now gone
I am pretty chilled about being on my own the only time that I wobbled was when Hubby and son went to work on the Monday morning after my surgery the previous Friday. I grew up as an only child from the age of 8 in a remote place so I have had to get used to being alone. Have had many happy years as a family of 5 but I am actually now quite enjoying having my own time again. ED left home fully in February, DS has just gone back to uni and YD starts on Sunday. I am quite glad that it will just be myself and hubby for the next few months. Unfortunately it looks like my MIL is not long for this world and FIL & my dad are not in great health either so this is going to be a tough few months. I love my MIL dearly and it is so hard to see her suddenly deteriorate ?
Yay it’s gone but they have warned me I might get build up and have manually drained as still losing a log of fluid but cannot leave drain in indefinitely but fingers crossed.
Sorry you have unwell relatives chaffinch as it’s an additional worry you could do without
I too am comfortable in my own company as long as I have a book to read
Hope everyone has a good day xx
Chaffinch
Unfortunately that’s the apart of life we cannot control but cherish every moment we get with loved ones. I lost my dad 10 years ago and mum still here after colon cancer 10 years ago. She lives overseas but we manage to see each other once a year for 2 months.
I get very frustrated when I see families fall out and don’t speak for years and only make up when illness happens…and they only live nearby too!!! I want to see my family more but can’t because of commitments. People should put their pride aside and pick up the phone b4 it’s too late.
Your in laws are very lucky to have you and the way you speak about them is lovely. Good for you and cherish every mine t you have with them.
I send them my love and thoughts too.xxx
Good news re drain Sue !!!
CK , no we don’t have a Maggies here,we do have local cancer charity that provides complimentary therapies, right now I would struggle to get there though -need to pick up a little bit to take advantage .
Hope you are feeling a bit more comfortable now SueW without the drain.
Now deep breath and rest.xx
Just woke up after yet another 2 hour nap didn’t know I could sleep so much x feel more comfortable still painful but tablets help x I am sure I have took more tablets in the last month than the whole rest of my life as I never take them x
Ck you are right I cherish my close knit family xx
My sister is one of my best friends and means the world to me and always has done and although my parents separated when I was 28 they remain friends and have been there for us both x I know I am blessed as not al families are the same x
Love to all x
Just re read my parents split when I was 18 not 28 x
Evening Cherry !! Heating came on tonight and it was realty nice - even got my towels dry !!
Husband may well suss it and turn it back off though !!!
Kick add we will!!! CherryB So glad to hear you feel much better after today otherwise it would have played on your mind! Well done!
I’ve had a chilled day after a pretty eventful one yesterday. After we signed the partnership agreement good old mum wanted to go to the casino again! But it was a good call as we had a lovely meal on the house and she could have a flutter instead of being indoors all the time watching over me!!!
I’m now just cooking some Pork Chops and Chicken wings in the oven which will be accompanied with mashed potato. Appetite is still good for day 13 and no achy bones today as GCSF injections stopped on Monday.
Jill
Hope you’ve picked up and warmer.xx

We get to wear our hats ladies?until we graduate after treatment?
Hi Jencat
It’s lovely to see you enjoying work again. Just do what you need to do do now and then deal with treatment when it comes. Then when you are mended you will be back to work full time again.
Take it easy though and have a good sleep.xxx
Morning Jen so glad you are enjoying work I could not work with little ones give me my moody teenagers over them any day of the week lol ?Good job we have all got different skills x
Ck you still doing okay ? Xx
Morning SueW
Yes, I’ve been good. Other than waking up at 4.30am hungey!!! So toast and jam it was and a decaff brew then back to sleep until 10am! I had a lazy day yesterday as Tuesday was a long day with business stuff. I didn’t even nap yesterday but just chillaxed! Just booked mum into dentist next week as she bit into a bone and lost one of her teeth off her dentures???
I have a few errands to do today and the sun is shining in Stockport which makes it more manageable.
And are you a lot more comfortable without the drain SueW…and are you going to have one of those 2 hour naps today???xxx
