Hi everyone new here. Found a lump last night was seen today by dr. She said its about 3 cms with rough edges and hard, shes sent an urgent referral to breast clinic, fingers crossed it will be ok as have family history.

Thank you so much, i was here 9 years ago but thankfully just a papiloma. I was at docs this morning to see nurse for other health reasons im glad i rang the docs this morning to see if nurse could check they booked me a doc straight after so shes done the 2 week referral as shes concerned about the lump.
Ah i really hope you don’t have anything to worry about with this one either. It’s a tough old wait is that 2 week referral but they do speed you along if they need to. My case was also the 2 week referral and once I had that appointment come through I was diagnosed and given a plan within a week! A lot to process in a short space of time but also a good thing I didn’t have time to sit and dwell on it as I was in and out of appointments almost daily. Wishing the best for you. Keep us updated 
I totally get it. Im going away for a few days sunday and following go to my daughters whose had surgery today. But if i get appointment through obviously i wont go. Hope your feeling ok i shed a little tear in docs when she said it was rough lump but keeping positive either way for myself.
I’m not sure if this helps but my lump was smooth, solid and consistent. It was incredibly obvious that it was breast cancer.
A lot of lumps found in the breast end up being benign as our tissue is very lumpy and bumpy to begin with. All you’ve got to think is whatever the outcome you are in the best care and if you do get diagnosed then you are going to be ok. I promise enjoy your time away from it all and when you return you will face it like the brave warrior that you are

Well had a call from breast clinic today and ive got a mammogram friday.

So annoyed, just been to clinic i didnt even see a doctor i had only been booked in for mammogram and so more waiting , i feel physically sick , i got mentally prepared. Sorry about the rant.
Was thinking about you and hoping you’re doing ok. I’m sorry you’ve got more waiting to do. Not ideal in this situation. Keep positive
Thank you so much, i was just taken aback didnt even see doctor but by all accounts its procedure now , you have to have a mammogram before appointment given.

My heart goes out to you, all this, waiting around, take such a toll on us. I’m pleased to read that you have now had a mammogram, so at least you have moved forward slightly and you are in the system.
I really feel since Covid, hospital appointments or any appointment is all very different now. I do hope you get results very soon which will allow you to move forward. We are all here for you on this site, so keep posting and unloading any worries that you may have.
Fingers crossed for a good outcome with the biggest hugs.

Hello everyone thank you all for the love and support.
Unfortunately it is breast cancer. Im very positive will get my biopsy results in 10 days and consultant has ordered a ct scan as lymph nodes look suspicious. I had 4 biopsies of breast and 3 of lymph nodes .
