I had my Mx done on 6 Jan but chemo delayed cos CT scan showed something suspicious.Had colonoscopy yesterday and ALL CLEAR.That really bought a smile to our faces.Went for a walk this afternoon and thought yes, I can get through all the next load of cr**p that will be thrown at me.Thanks for keeping me going-it really means a lot .Celia
Recieving a beautiful basket of flowers from my colleagues at work
mucking the ponies out, walking the dogs for two hours, schooling my stallion and gelding for the afternoon and grooming. Sunshine, in fact everything made me happy.
My postman stopped me as I was on the way back from the shops to gave me a parcel that he was just taking away. He remembered me - hope it was from previous parcels and not from the time I accidentally flashed him whilst showing friend my scar! I not only got parcel of goodies from friend straight away but laughed all the way home, remembering how I had to hide in garden shed the next day to avoid him!
Gwendolyn - just loved this. If my brain wasn’t Tamoxified, I’d do some serious thinking re male and female flashers - surely differing attitudes but this is a thread re happiness. Soooooo, today: being treated to lunch and then put in taxi by no 1 son who is home from sea for a while. Any people out there with BC and teenage children - hang on in there, when they’re adult it’s totally differne. B
Sang all the way through a 2 hour choir rehearsal. Voice is hanging in there.

Just been for a lovely walk in the frost at a country park near us with both adult sons. Sat in the bird hide and watched ducks diving for food in the small amount of water amongst vast swathes of ice - was funny watching the ducks slipping on the ice.

Apart from the lovely red I’m wrapping myself around (just a glass, OH has already snaffled the rest of the bottle!) what made me happy today was the support I’ve had from some lovely people. Thank you, ladies.

I finally got round to filling in Child Tax Credits paperwork, and I’ve just got a letter this morning confirming that I am entitled to it. So I’ll be receiving a little bit of money every month which will help meet some of my commitments.
Also got my prescription exemption card, so that’s good too.
Made myself grin attempting to put a parting in my hair,( which is really too short for a proper one), but I swear it’s growing a tiny bit every day!
Every little helps, as Tesco says!
