There is a list at the top of our profile which has notifications Fluffy and you can change the settings to only being notified if you have a pm. Hope that makes sense? I have only just found it myself! What a lovely day it is may try a little gardening ,well ten minute stretches!! I have some plants arriving so want to make sure the pots are ready for them!

Hi Fluffy - Iforgot to untick the box yesyerday and have a full inbox now! I also know what you mean about the memory. I heard the song Valerie on the radio and could I think of who sant it - complete blank. About 2hrs later it cliecked -Amy Whinehouse, I’ve got 2 of her CDs as well! Don’t give up on the forum! We can let off steam here, share the good moments and the funny ones!

Emmy - they tried to take blood from my foot, but couldn’t get enough. I wouldn’t fancy the groin either - oooh the thought of it! I did have to smile though at your dopey Dora and Sherlock!
Carolyn - had PICC line removed after chemo finished in December and found it had caused a clot in my arm - but thats another story!

yay! tried oh’s phone and now I exist again! my phone wouldn’t let ne post, only to put smilies is… still enjoying being a free flutterby… back to the grindstone at the weekend. Doz and all flutterbys I have posted on No BCC Don’t show my photo , which Mrs Blue has started and could not help myself . I am finding myself agreeing with her! I am certainly not ashamed of anything I have ever written but do feel uneasy with the idea that all and sundry can just look up our pics and I still don’t feel too sure on the pm’s. I know Mike has told us they are in a safe area but I am bothered (always a bother!) and feel totally uncertain about what is going ‘out there’.
I am not a total novice and know that people can google get us but I did however think we were closed unless you were a member.As for the notifications every time I uncheck the box change notification settings I still get a full mail box yesterday it got sill and I had around 40!! This morning 19!! doing a Doz aaaaarrrrrgggghhhh!!!
That’s better! Well I did some gardening ME! and I paid for it last night but up early and feel quite good so more to do and happy that I can tootle about which is my favourite thing! I even (step back in amazment!) did some housework! Whew think this sun is going to my head!

All went well yesterday, canula went in back of hand, which i must say was painful, i gave quite a loud yelp, the chap said if this does not work we have to use the foot, thought of you emmy as they said that would be very painful, what a tummy turner yuck!! 
Stella As the weeks goes buy my memory gets worse, dont think it was this bad when i was on chemo, i have to write everything down, as nothing would get done 
Doz As the weeks and months go by and with your surport vikki will come out the other side and bloom into a wonderful butterfly sending you both a big hug xxxx
ami Iam soooo not good at computors and its taking a while to learn , my OH is writing a step by step log of which puttons to press and click, but i will get there ( one day) i have plenty of time on my hands xxxx

Crabbit Dont really know what triggers the cellulitus, a pattern is emerging that i get it every 3 months, at one point thought i was
being too clean eg; shower in the morning and another in evening, so stopped evening shower silly really but ill try anything not to get it, just one of those things dont know whats happened to the spacing?

Hi everyone IF this posts it will be a miracle I wrote on the forum Em mentioned only to find it went elsewhere… I wonder where too??? so after several attempts I wrote a shorter version saying if it does’nt post i’ll go into the garden to eat worms… it posted so I replied no worms for me today… only to find after 9 attempts the 10th one went on 3 times and I could’nt post to apologize… doing an AMI 
but so sick of the time wasted trying to post!!!

Well flutterbys here comes the rain never mind the forecast for the weekend is supposed to be better so we will have to take what we get! I have sat here and trawled through all the settings and thanks to something Rev Cat said on here I think I have switched off the mails! I had to unsubscribe to all forums and will have to go to side menu to find us but that’s what I used to do before so much better (I hope!) 
There is also settings for how you want your pics, info so you can choose to be private and only your friends can see again (I hope!) as it was causing no end of distress! Hopefully now I have found these you all will too and we can be ‘US’ again!
Big flutterby hug coming your way Yvonne it isn’t nice at all and yes it hurts too! I realise they need to do bloods but wouldn’t you think they would have found a better way ,though I can’t think of one apart from knocking me spark out! I could not have my usual butterfly as they needed to collect a fair amount to run tests on so it was a needle which the doc did apologise for but explained it would be easier to do it in one to make sure they got enough this time as the last time they took blood they couldn’t get enough to do all the tests needed so all done and NO I won’t let them do my groin they will have the foot again if needed! 
Doz you do make me giggle ! I know you didn’t do it deliberately but I howled at you ‘doing an ami!’ and ami knows that I am not laughing at her just how it comes out on this site! I hope you are resting? and that Vik is getting there slowly but better than not at all after all you have been through you need a break from it all!
Apologies from me to Jane as she sent a message for me to say hello but the thing only came through this afternoon from yesterday then when I was going through the settings I realised it said pm’s weekly? so I changed that to daily so I don’t miss anything! So Jane (she who is in training to be a spy!) Sorry spy smiley too

Oh, Emmy, I know you were very apprehensive about having your blood taken again, for that very reason and you’ve every right to feel sorry for yourself, flutterby. About the work, well, supervising is the next thing to doing it ‘cos it proves you’re interested, so you’ll be joining in, in no time! Keep on tootling! Nice to see you’re working out this site…. and….don’t “do an Ami“! He, he!
I have a vision of you with your hands in a praying position, down on your knees before hitting the ‘post’ button, Fluffy! I think we all seem to be discovering things about this new site which allays our fears a tiny bit, so gradually we are gaining confidence and dipping our toes in the water so hopefully it will all come together in time, so please don’t abandon us, will you?
The wasps are still buzzy and as you say, Doz, huge! I can’t remember having them like this so early, I seem to see them when the fruit trees ripen and they get drunk on the fermenting fruit! I’m pleased to hear Vikki is managing a little to do some normal tasks but it must be painful for you to see her struggle. You are so supportive. Hope you’ve lost pounds in the sweat hut!! You made me titter at the “doing an Ami“!

Janice. Are you back to normal after your wedding and do you have some lovely photo’s printed yet? It is very overcast and muggy here. We could do with some rain, the garden is rock hard. I planted some Geraniums but could have done with a pick axe.

I’ve been through the settings with a fine tooth comb and hopefully this will now see me back on the airwaves and not blaspheming at the computer anymore!!! I sat for well over an hour this morning and was just about to tear my hair out when it posted finally!!!
Oh you poor flutterbys with all the blood letting and needles my heart goes out to you all I hope these will come to an end soon for you and they give you a well earned break from it all… i still hate giving blood no matter how samall the phial
We hav’nt had any rain yet but I think by the look of the forecast and the sky outside tho dark now its certainly on its way… I’ve been out with the hose (no ban as yet!) and i’ve been eaten alive by mozzys and as if the wasps are’nt bad enough the ants are even stinging??? So yup please let it rain!!!
Had a bad day with Vikki she had her IV treatment then the Nurse asked her to try sitting for a few mins without the back brace on… one very pale and agitated girlie nearly passed out so I think its a long way off before thats going to happen again, she’s been out for the count since we got home and as I type is “snoring”
I hope everyone is well and your all well rested ready for the bank/public holiday Unfortunayely I’m working nights again at the weekend but it will be nice to have a days rest from treatment on monday… it just means were there tuesday and wed instead SIGH!!!

I got ALL my old posts back!!! So happy!! Got a message from Jane she is having a bad time trying to post again she even (hold your breath!) snarled! Such spy like behaviour! So love her it is getting to her! Doz well done it will come right just need to iron out a few gremlins (they won’t like it) and I am sure we will all be happy bunnies! I will however bear in mind that what we put here is public along with pics so will send pm’s for anything a bit delicate! I did say on the other site that I haven’t told family (loads of reasons won’t bore you! ) so was quite shaken that it is all made public then logic kicked in and I thought we just need to watch what we post which is a real shame but I can handle that now! 
Hellooo ! Well it is a bit soggy here today but not as cool as they said it would be (more flushing!) but in a way I am pleased as it will make it easier to plant some shrubs we bought yesterday (well hubby will!) I will supervise! Ha!Ha! ami thinks it is good to supervise so if asked I will say ‘ami said!’ she is an oracle of wisdom so I will follow her advice! I have however had bosses like that who I am shamed to say used to make my blood boil! I like the kind who rolled back their sleeves and helped! But I will do it for now though have even dusted (where on earth did all those cobwebs come from?) Yes I am noticing things like that now!
Well sat in the beloved PJ’s ,well it is wet out there! But I will go shower and get ready for my son and wife’s visit later which is a;ways nice I love to catch up with what they are doing.

never thought about privacy, as I don’t think anyone I know has the time/inclination/know-how to find this site & scour it. mind you, I’ve been very open about the cancer and have set up a CaringBridge site where I can put updates & keep people informed. that way I can moderate what I want to be public myself, and use this site to say how it really felt, cause you guys understand.

Em I have to tell you that you are a copycat ha ha ha!!! I just checked my PM’s and there are 3 YES 3 all the same from you and it turns out after coming on here your post above has gone to my Private Messages box along with Janes too but yes yours came 3 times ha ha ha!!! I guess there are still a few Gremlins on here but it does seem to be sorting itself out…
Just been shopping and my car seemed a bit shuddery… is that a word?? so popped into Tyremen as I thought it might be a tyre… It was’nt it was the wheel balance… and 2 of the alloys are wearing a bit and the trye pressure keeps going down so now having to have 4 new alloys put on all expense Sob!!!
I have been thinking of changing it now Vikki has had to sell her car and only being a 2 seater its a bit unsociable but now i’m having to spend a few hundred £’s on it i’ve decided to stay unsociable for the rest of this year
Jane so glad you had your ban lifted I was beginning to think I had been too but it seems we are back on track… if this posts??? I agree with Em if there is anything too delicate/personal to put on here we can always PM each other, but that does’nt mean to say we are turning our backs on the reason why we found ourselves/each other on here and the reason we did was to share our experiences doubts fears etc and always will flutterbys…

Hi everyone we have had a very rainy day here and because we are so far north we don’t have many wasps I think the cold scares them off ha ha.Hope to have a dry weekend as going to Scotland and would like to get out and about with my grandsons(.Dry as in no rain as will probably have a few wines!!! )
Ami hope you get a little bit of rain for your garden but not too much.
