Thanks ladys, you’ve made me all emotional, thanks so much for all your well wishing comments, its so comforting to read.
AlexD - I celebrated by buying myself a gorgeous new cardigan and had a chocolate brownie (I’ve given everything up since dx and I mean everything sugar, red meat etc) cause it was my birthday this month and I am now 44.
Just wishing all of you Stable Mabels sincere congratulations.
Long may it continue…
Reading Nicky65’s post I’m hoping you manage to join this great gang very soon…and all the others struggling too.
It must be so wonderful to hear those words after such traumatic times.
Love and hugs to all of you.
Such a lovely thread to read…
I hope it goes on for a verrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrry long time!
Just found this thread. Sorry I am late in joining in with your good news Nicky. Hope you may continue to be stable for a long time to come.
Next year, in Feb wil be my 23rd year of original diagnosis. I never thought I would reach the age of a pensioner when I was just a bairn of 39 in 1989. So may I join you as a Stable Mabel coz I am so glad still to be here. Hugs to all, val

Good news that there seems to be quite a few stable mabels around.
Lesley, I have just read your post on the bone and liver mets thread and it sounds like you are responding well to chemo as liver function tests are now good. I hope this is confirmed by the MRI scan. I will be sending you positive blue light.
Hi
Val - you’ve always been president of the club so you don’t have to ask to join
Hello to Julie and Linz - it’s lovely to have you along with all of us.
And Lesley - we’d love you to join - keeping fingers crossed that the tumour markers drop even further during your next chemo’s
Nicky xx
Here’s another one! CT shows healing mets in spine and no activity elsewhere. Long may it last! I also feel and look really well. Could do with getting shot of my extra pounds - weight!
An early Xmas present for me!! Diagnosed Sept '10 stage 4 from the start with multiple small lung mets in both lungs. Been on Letrozole every since and had 4th scan last Friday that showed regression. Latest result said “scans show response to treatment”. Long may it continue!!!
Been for my MRI results this morning, onc was all smiles and handed me my scan results which say “No significant interval change” to liver or bone mets, which he translated as stable - plus my tumour markers are falling rapidly and all bloods in normal range. What a lovely Christmas present, very happy Two more cycles of the dreaded Taxotere, but I don’t care now that I know it’s doing the job!
Lesley xx

Now hopefully you can relax and enjoy Christmas! Your next 2 tax won’t seem as bad now you know that it is working, you never know it may go one step further and show reduction next time - Fingers crossed!
