Sharon – I’m so glad you aren’t having to wait until Sept – thought that was a bit far off. How long are you having to stay in for?
Fiona – Glad you managed to get a wig, my hair is really fine too but the wig shop I went to is a hair dressers who also do wigs and wig alterations. When I go back to get it fitted, they’re going to thin it out for me and I’ll get it trimmed there too. I’m going for the Cheryl Cole look – ha! just wish I had her figure too. You sound like you’re having such a crap time with side effects, did you get anything from the chemist this morning?
Angela – thanks for the car-parking advice, saves me scrolling back through pages of posts. Good luck on Monday at work.
Jo – poor you. I must admit Chicken Pox are one of my worst fears when dropping the kids off at Nursery, as it’s usually this time of year that there’s an outbreak. Have your kids had it? The boys had it 3 summers ago luckily. Roll on Monday so we can get a rest!. Hope you have a good time tonight.
We’re still waiting on our first baby tooth breaking through, although I can see it under the gum. I was up between 12 and 1 in the night trying to console her, so am shattered this morning.

Hi girls - its so nice to see sun shining. Hope to sit in garden this afternoon. No sun cream in house so must watch bald head - its burns so easy.
Sharon - not long to go to surgery now. You’ll just be wanting it done and over with. You’ll be fine but make sure you get as much rest as you can when you get home. I know its hard.
Fiona and Helen - glad you managed to get your wigs. It’s such a wierd thing to do. I just cried when I tried on for first time but you soon get used to it. It’s great not having hair to wash every day.
Jo - what a worry over chicken pox. Hope all works out.
Pauline - was weekend in Oban good.
Girls that are doing LGFB have great time.

Hope you’ve all had a good day in the sun today, wasn’t it great.
Sheila like you I didn’t have any suntan lotion in so tried to keep in the shade. Thanks for your advice about the wigs, I must admit I’m terrified about washing my hair tomorrow as I’m starting to get some hair loss.
Fiona – I’m hoping to get to the Maggies centre just after 1 tomorrow, so I can have a look around first. It’ll be great to see you.
Pauline – did you had a good weekend in Oban – how was the fish and driving?
Angela – good-luck tomorrow at work.
Well, Seren eventually cut her first tooth last night – so just another 19 to go now - aaaargh!

Morning Girls,
Spent the night with thermometer!!! 37.6!! Aaarrgg! But fine now! I’m so tired! Also My mouth is so sore, I have thrush from antibiotics’s but managed to get nystan from Doc yesterday. I’ve got horrible swollen gums and lumps inside cheeks and lips which are turning into ulcers!! So I’m feeling a bit miserable this morning.

Helen- looking forward to LGFB today. I’m going about 1pm too, I’m hoping to ask someone about tips for my mouth. X

What a lovely day yest, seems to be nice again today.
Fiona - Yip I had sore mouth on Tax also, that’s when I lost my taste buds. I used corsodyl and got Difflam from hospital. Fresh pineapple is good for sore mouth I ate it every day. I’m afraid to say you’ll be off your food for a while. Don’t eat dry meals eat things with sauces or gravy, spicy food will be bad also, I still can’t eat curries and really miss them. Drink plenty fluids. If we meet up for lunch I can give you Difflam, I’ve got loads left.
My temp fluctuated alot aswell, 37.6- 37.9 but always came down never went 38 or over.
Helen - I should be in hospital for 7-10 days depending how I recover, I will be staying with mum and dad for a while.

Good afternoon girls - sunshine again - its just great.
Fiona - the mouth ulcers are horrible. I found that one of the worst symptoms. Nothing seems to help I used Difflam but found eating difficult Pineapple was good also yoghurt. Somedays all I could eat was porridge. Tongue was horrible and thick coated and then it suddenly went ok. knew then taste would start coming back. I found a cold white wine spritzer at night was really good !!!

What another lovely day, took a walk around Heritage Park managed to walk round twice, energy in legs starting to come back, yeeha!!

Sharon- I phoned docs this morning and got some difflam, numbed the ulcers for about 10mins. But better than nothing!! Can’t belive this time next week you’ll be all done!!! You’ll feel better getting it out the way, the rest is just healing. It’s good you can go to your mum and dads. Take all the help you can get. X
Sheila- good you can make Friday, here’s hoping most of us can make it. X
Well I’m off to lie down. Still feeling a bit fevery!! Can’t believe how tired I am after today and all I was doing was putting makeup on!!

Loving the weather been out in the garden all weeekend had a bbq on sunday even managed a bit of gardenin gand got some colour about my face…
Sorry cant meet on fri got chemo at 2pm I am okay for thurs day steven is off and the girls are at nursery in the afternoon…
The Italian kitchen is really good been in there a few times
Only got 6 more chemo to go then i am on rads for 5 wks counting down thats me half way there woohoo

Well first day back at work done! It wast too bad, I worked from 10 till 4, Im pretty tired, but cant sleep as I didnt finish what I was working on and keep going over solutions in my head. Tried to dial into work to put one of the solutions into place just now (12.30) but cant access my PC for some reason… and of course with something like this I need to try it to see if its going to work ok. I cant get to sleep thinking about it ARGH!!
I think Friday is good for me… Thursday isnt… Sharon you talked about the muscle inn last time, what about there?
