first of all apology for not making it to the much anticipated lunch today but had rather sad news a couple of days ago regarding a very close friend and just did not feel up to some lively chit chat or company in general.
Best of luck for tomorrow car - will be thinking of you and hope we will get good news from you soon.

Great to meet you ladies yesterday and hopefully next time Alanaa and Nicola can be there too. Enjoyed the chat, food and of course the large glass of red.
Out for lunch again today - thats the third time this week but alas no wine as chemo tomorrow. Last chemo though then a 4 week break and onto rads and Herceptin - oh the joys!

Very quiet on here - where has everyone gone? Hope you are all well and enjoying the lovely weather.
Finished chemo on Friday - whooopeee - phase 2 complete. Still awaiting dates for rads and start Herceptin on 27 April.
Hope all your treatments are going to plan. Off for a walk now in the sunshine.

I have just two more days left at work then off to Cyprus where I believe it is raining!

I had my third chemo yesterday, halfway there for me. Got my anti-sickness meds changed, much better. Had a bit of a carry on with my vains. Third time lucky though.
What gorgeous weather we are having but I heard it is coming to an end soon.

Elaine I am so glad you have finished the chemo - I should start my rads in about 3/4 weeks all going according to plan so maybe we are around the same time. Will be good to see you again and have the long overdue chat and coffee.
Ann glad that your sickness feeling is better controlled now and you are at the half way stage.

I had my frist FEC on monday. Although I wasnt actually sick the nausea was horrid, 3 days in bed. Feeling much better today though, just as well, as we on our way to Aviemore for the week when the kids get out of school.
Loving this weather, hope it lasts!

I am trying to pack far too much so deciding which half not to take.
I am not taking my i phone as it keeps pinging work e mails or my laptop so plan to be internet free for a wee while and do old fashioned things like reading, drinking wine and chatting.
Sorry to hear Nicola and Ann are having a wee bit of a tough time with chemo. Hope the nausea settles.
Will catch up when I get back.

Sorry for not being in touch since our lunch, which was very nice!
Just back from holiday in Paris. Had a great time and got a lovely break in the sun with lots of good food and wine! Back to normality with Aberdeen in the rain and second round of oral chemo starting tomorrow.
Ann I know how you feel when there is an issue with veins, it took nearlly 40 mins today to get my bloods done!! Hope you are not feeling too bad after your third dose.
Nic hope you have a great time away and get a nice break and Car as well.

Into second week after third dose and now feeling back to normal. Arm still sore, not too sure what they will do with me lol :o)

Hope everyone is well.
Nothing much to report here just enjoying my 3rd week of being free from hospital appointments. Have been feeling more tired than usual and am putting it down to the accumulative effects of chemo. Hopefully my energy levels will return fairly soon though.
Rads planning on 30th April but haven’t yet been told when it all actually starts. I have 3 weeks and 3 days of rads. Alanaa how long will your rads be for as we might overlap. Herceptin loading on 27th so not looking forward at all to spending 6 or 7 hours in ARI but I suppose needs must.
Hope the weather immproves as its chucking it down here in Aberdeen.
