to the club no one wants to join but Iām so grateful for, the advice, support and lovely people on here have been immeasurable for me 
Sorry for the late welcome, been a busy few days, had my second EC Friday 12th April, had a tough week following but have actually felt really well this week so Iāve been trying to make the most of it, just getting jobs done and had a few visits from friends, think they were dreading seeing me without my hair but nearly all had very positive reaction with only a few tears,
Collected my wig yesterday and Iām so pleased with it

Morning @elle16 im glad to hear youāve had a good week. I had my first EC on last week Thursday, been a bit of a pants week, how long did it take for you to lose hair? Iām pleased youāre happy with your wig, I ended up taking mine back and getting it cut a bit as it just felt like a lot of hair! Its made a lot of difference and I feel it looks more natural. Hope you carry on feeling well. H x

Morning @tsoph - I am with you today going through my second EC.
Please try not to worry too much, easy to say I know but it really is the anticipation and the not knowing thatās the worse part but youāll find the nurses really experienced and reassuring.

@hc1973 Iām on day 21 since my first EC. I tried cold cap but had to take it off. I have been shedding the last 3 days but no bald patches yet. Spoke to the hospitalās wig lady and she said it usually takes a week from starting shedding till fully out. So thatās nice I have another few days. Iāll take any small wins in this situation!

@ivegotthis01 iāve also been keeping a diary, and really pleased I did. Now in my second cycle Iām finding it interesting the similarities to last time. It helps remind me that those bad days pass and there are better days ahead.

I think my headband helped a bit as did some paracetamol beforehand - but itās still tough so well done on seeing it through

@hc1973 it started falling about two weeks after my first chemo and I had it shaved to grade 2 on day 18 or 19 as I couldnāt deal with how much was coming out, I also struggled with wigs but eventually found one Iām really happy with I mage mostly with hats and scarves but like the option of the wig so I can blend in when popping out if that makes sense? I will pop a photo on of my wig
Keep going, I know itās hard when you feel poorly but fingers crossed you will start to pick up again soon, I start to feel better once the injections stop , hope you have a good day today

Oh thank you so much @elle16 for your kind message. Your wig looks amazing! Mine is a bob too! I had really long hair then cut it to a bob and decided I preferred it so then got my wig cut too! Are you wearing a wig liner? I bought a bamboo one off Amazon but it feels quite big! Itās hard with the hair loss as I know itās going to happen soon especially as I didnāt cold cap. So I keep waking up thinking is today the day and look at my brush! Itās now day 8 since the EC however I did have cyclophosphamide and some docetaxal 2 weeks before- it was stopped due to a reaction. I donāt want to lose the hair but almost just need it to happen at the same time itās weird! I will post a photo of my wig x

Good luck @tsoph and @bettysmum for today. Honestly @tsoph you will feel so much better once you have the first session out of the way - I think the anticipation is worse.
For those of you taking the filstagrim injections, I had terrible bone pain after my first EC but this time I took an antihistamine an hour before each jab and the bone pain was so much better. I could feel it after the last jab but it was manageable and eased off pretty quickly. Now that Iāve got 10 days before my next EC and Iām feeling pretty normal atm x

Hereās my wig, I had to wear sunglasses as my eye bags were a situation! I donāt usually wear shades in my kitchen
