That looks fantastic hc1973, and I’m loving the shades xx
GOOD LUCK to everyone having treatment today, hope everything goes as planned , sending lots of love to you all
@hc1973 you look gorgeous what a stunning lot of ladies we are- my wig is way up the thread. I got a wig liner from Amazon too, much thicker than the net one I got with the wig, so it will be v hot. Ideal as the weather (possibly) will be getting warmer, but the wig does feel more secure!!!
They suggested these on the workshop the other day too. I found the liner was really tight on my head so am trying without anything first, but do feel it moving a little. Meeting a friend later so it will have its first outing
Good luck @altoan with your first wig outing I went for lunch with daughter and sister yesterday in mine and just kept telling myself only I know all went ok and was lovely not to have the sorrowful look I find strangers like to give me at the moment, I know people mean well but I really don’t like to draw attention to myself , any way I had a lovely lunch and wig stayed put, so I’m taking that as a win xx
Ooh going to order some now!
Do tell your teams if you antisickness meds not working, they will tweak till they get right combination Shi xx
Looks fabulous Shi xx
looks fantastic Shi xx
You look amazing. It looks so natural!!
They’ve given me a right cocktail, but I said from the start that I was v nauseous at the best of times. It took 12 hours to get it under control this time, but I’m on the mend now. And I will keep taking for 5 days!
I’m glad you said that @elle16 - when I was out with my husband the other day I noticed three people were much kinder to me than they needed to be but when I mentioned it to him, he thought I was imagining it! Even the woman who called after me “all the best” after I paid in Tesco!!
@altoan I had someone offer to pack my shopping for me but it was a day that I felt quite well and braved going into home bargains on my own, I obviously looked worse than I felt was very kind of her but I politely declined xx
Well,
Absolute flop for cycle 1.
Managed the phesgo no probs but 4 mins into docetaxel I went into anaphylaxis and ended up having treatment stopped entirely as my body totally floundered around and had the crash team called
Just terrifying and now ive got to start again. Just being observed now with fluids. Im exhausted and want to just be able to say cycle one is done but it isnt
Just want to sob and sob honestly. Just wanted today to be over
Oh no, sounds awful, sending you lots of love
Oh no @tsoph I’m so, so sorry to hear that - it sounds terrifying! Hopefully you can recover over the weekend and your medical team can reconsider your treatment plan next week. Take care of yourself - you will get there, quite a few people on the forum have had similar experiences and managed to switch plans x
