sorry to hear about the reflux, that is one thing i dont seem to get often, i did on chemo. im sure youll find the remedy soon, u usually do. the boy at school sounds horrid, are all teenagers destined to become like that, mine who was 14 a few days ago, seems to be changing overnight, but if you can get past their bravado theres some nice stuff underneath(i think?)

peacock
your an inspiration all this home grown veg,i have thought about it, maybe next year, i have strawberries this year so its a start,

sorry to hear youve been under the weather, the visit to the gardens hopefully did you good. these 80 year olds suprise me, my mum is often the fittest out of us all.
lisaf
i know what you mean about the arm, but mine is more on the shoulder and under the arm, where i have a big pouch, theyve offered to tidy it up, but ive copped out at present. i must admit im like you, cant stand wearing the garments, i find mine is too hot. im supposed to do excercises for it all the time, but you get so brassed off, you just want to forget about it, and carry on as normal. i do get manual drainage but even that asnt cured it, so i think im stuck with it, for life. never mind.

hope you ok?

take care god bless x

Soz havent been on its manic at the moment at work and home - catch up later.

Enjoy sunny day x

Hi,
I am fine just a door smacked against my elbow, which made the nerves jump about a bit. All better now and I have to teach him again tomorrow, so good job I am ok about it. Such is life in schools these days and I am at a school in an affluent area so usually good behaviour. Someone brought a gun in at my last school - scarey stuff. We are on a countdown to the summer holidays - 19 to go
Nicky glad to hear you are treating yourself to a week off and as you say the chicks will soon flee the nest. If you work out how to remove children’s piles of rubbish from around the house, please pass the secret on. I see chemo brain still raises its ugly head! Hope the optician is expecting you this time :)I need to go too, as I think my eyes have suffered from the treatments.Have you made your holiday plans for the US yet?
Lorraine glad we are keeping you occupied in the morning while the old tablets go down lol. Hubby is convinced it was a cross contamination from prawns. My reaction to them seems to be getting worse, probably ought to talk to the doc about it some time. I don’t really like going to the doc, much prefer thinking of other things like yummy galaxy chocolate. My visitors went into a big London store and bought me a basket (I am not joking) full of Godiva chocolates, tons of them. Bang goes the diet again and my holiday and bikini in the next size up (as usual) are fast approaching yikes. Bit worried whether I will fit in the plane seat as a bit snug 2 years ago!!! The injury was a result of naughty behaviour and not malicious so I just move on otherwise you get too stressed.

hi girlies, this weather beautiful but not too good with the power surges.

lily 2000

like you say the more attention you give to a problem, just seems to make it escalate, im sure hell feel bad anyway, even if he wont show it in front of his mates. i bet you really looking forward to school holidays. plenty of time to eat those chocs. i had a box of thorntons brought me last week, but i put them on my sons birthday cake, needless to say i did have a peice. diet was going ok, until i started feeling tired, and dont feel up to so much power walking, need to go later, just had pineapple upside down cake.

hope you enjoying the sun and having fun, dont talk to me about clearing stuff out, they just keep bringing it back home, when they fall out with partners and have no where to store it.aghhhhhhhhhhh

everyone have a great weekend.

x

Hi,
not much to report really, just a very nice ordinary sort of a day with nothing medical to contemplate. Ed came round and hubby, her and myself went to McD and stuffed our little faces. HAD to test drive the new oreo cookie mcflurry, very nice even though it looks a bit odd. YD is raising the roof because a local pet shop has 8 kittens squashed in a small guinea pig hutch. Apparently, according to the council boff, they could actually legally stuff even more in because the animal laws have not changed since the 50s. The RSPCA told her it would take 4 weeks to respond to a call and she nearly lost the plot. So she plans to try to get the law changed, any ideas anyone?
Have a lovely weekend, hopefully warm and sunny
Still boiling

Poor kittens!!

Hope everyone having nice weekend, Im sweating buckets and my sleeve is sweating but being a good girl and wore it all time, apart from pub last night.

Well its my mam and dad’s 40th anniversary today so already had a champers and having a meal in house tonight and surprising them with a trip to dublin!!!

Enjoy the weather girlies!!!

Hi ladies

Well, I hear you are having some great weather in the UK, so it looks like you’ll be out enjoying the sun, and why not - don’t forget the sun cream.

Our weather has been 35 deg today so I’ve been swimming, I seem to spend most of the day dripping wet from sweat, all the poor animals (3 cats, 2 dogs, 5 chickens and a guinea pig) seem to be flaking out too. I’ve been doing some gardening today, and we ended up eating some kale, parsnips, carrots, runners, swede and sugar snaps and they were all delicious. The little baby cauli’s are starting to pop out so am excited about that as I’ve read they are difficult to grow. I am hoping to get the freezer full of different veg, most of the things we are trying to grow are things you can’t find easily here in France. I also bake our bread, I know France is renowned for its bread but TBH we like bread with oats and cereals in, which are difficult to buy here. I pop all the ingredients into the bread machine and 3 hours later, voila!

I had a scare at the hospital on Friday when I mentioned to the doc about this persistent cough I have and the breathlessness, so far I’ve been putting it down to Herceptin, so after my 17th dose of H I was rushed down to xray for a chest pic, then had to go back to see the dr for results. I was bricking it and had convinced myself of the worst, particularly as it had all happened so quick. Anyway, lungs are fine nothing showed up so it might be an infection, but I’ve also got to go for an echocardiogram just to check on heart. Relief, wow I nearly kissed the taxi driver!!!

Lily how is the reflux? Hope it hasn’t been keeping you up at night, do you think it could partially be a stress thing – I mean your treatment/return to work/tiredness and life in general? Thanks for your reply on my arm pain thread, maybe you are right and perhaps I do do (isn’t that a song??) too much. It’s hard to cut down though when so much needs doing and last year as you know was a wipe out. I’m trying to make up for lost time, but aren’t we all.

Everyday - how are you getting on with your arm sleeve now the weather has turned warmer there? It must be so uncomfortable. Hope your strawberries taste delicious, yummy, strawberries and cream. We do have strawberries, but not enough for us all to have them at one time.

Nicky – I live in south west France, the Dordogne in the heart of the countryside with cows being our nearest neighbours. I love the peace and quiet, its a small village but surprisingly a mixture of French, English, Dutch and even Irish people also live here. Did your daughter get off to Bulgaria ok? Hope she didn’t leave her passport at home like our son did recently when he was due to fly out to see us!

Bevy my tips for gardening are, wear a good pair of leather gloves, have a soft cushion or pillow to sit on, and don’t cry when you see all the weeds! LOL I haven’t been told NOT to garden, in fact all I was told was not to lift heavy things, wear gloves for cooking and gardening, and that’s about it. For the rest they said carry on as normal. I only do as much as I feel up to, usually about an hour at a time is enough for me. Re the cramp, at the hospital on Friday I had a blood test taken for infection (because of the coughing) and also for magnesium because a deficiency in that can cause cramp.

Well that’s my lot for now, hi to everyone else and hope the sun doesn’t get the better of you all.

Take care

P xx

Hi Lisa,
send them my congrats too and the trip is a lovely idea. I took little chap to a school fete today as YD and my Mum were judging a small dog show there. He is dog mad and was very excited to watch the agility dogs going through their paces, including them leaping to pull knickers and bras off a washing line, which he though hysterical.I thought we would have a go at a few of the stalls to try to win a prize. Had a go at one where you had to throw a ping pong ball into a little bucket, you know they always bounce straight out. So I was pretty amazed when 2 of my 3 balls stayed in lol and looked around for THE BIG PRIZE. Lady said he could have anything at all - fab. He chose a 3 inch high cuddly dog and the smallest thing on the stall!!! We then went to a stall where you have to pick a ticket ending in 5 or 0. Checked with him first that he could see a prize that I could win, as there were 4 foot high golden retriever cuddly toys and huge other animals for top prizes. Runners up received a much much smaller toy.He stood there with his lip out for some time and then said lets just see what I win. OH NO I thought, this sounds like he is after something big and thinks I know how to win it after our last success!! Naturally we did not get a 5 or 0 so were offered a small prize. We sorted through the prizes and there were dolls, cows, pigs, elephants, monsters, everything except a dog. So his lip came out, put on the saddest face and refused to choose anything. The poor lady was doing her best and was a bit upset that he was so sad and went round the back and brought out a huge cuddly alsation toy and presented him with it. I did all the usual polite things, said don’t worry, when she insisted thanked her profusely, etc, etc
So we all know what is expected of a small child at this point? A big grin, thank yous, etc. Not him, tucks it under his arm and decided he does not want to talk to this enthusiastic lady. Little devil! We went for a talk and then I rather meanly told him we had to take it back unless he went to say goodbye and thank you for my doggy before we left. He did and both of them went home happy. End of the bedtime story
Peacock we are online togetehr, your post just popped up. The veg sound lovely and will be very good for your health too. Bet you are getting your 5 a day easily. My reflux was just that one night, which is why hubby is convinced someone ‘poisoned me with prawns’. Sorry to hear about your scary hospital visit but very pleased to hear they did not find any nasties. I really take my hat off to you ladies on herceptin who go the extra mile after chemo and rads. How long will your treatment be in total? By the way don’t kiss taxi drivers, you never know where they’ve been lol!!!

wow so much going on again. ive been gallevanting about myself, wales yesterday, blackpool today. so diet not going very well today, a visit to pizza hut saw to that, mind you i didnt succom to cream cake so im not as bad as i was.
my tiredness doesnt seem as bad at the moment, i think you just have to ride the bad weeks out.
i cant wear my sleeve for my arm, cos its too hot, in fact i cant wear anything in bed at all! and only have a sheet over me to protect my modesty. my hot sweats are definatley worse than ever.

grandchildren arnt they just adorable, even when they misbehave!

my garden is a lot better than last year too. im not supposed to lift heavy things but i had to empty an old wheelbarrow the other day to fill with plants and i was so fed up of asking, i just got on with it, up to now i seem to have got away with it, but keeping eye on any twinges in back., my strawberries are so small but it is there first year so maybe next year will be better.
lisaf
glad youve enjoyed celebrations with parents, its so good to be able to give them something back. well done for wearing your sleeve. i just cant cope with the clothes ive got on never mind putting extra on.,

take care all x

Lisa,
Glad you enjoyed the celebrations for your parents and that they enjoy their trip to Dublin. Well done with the sleeve it must be uncomfortable in this hot weather. I have a sleeve that I use when I am doing gardeing as this was advised to me as my hand swells and my arm is bigger than it was but fortunately not full lymphodema. They really are awkward to put on aren’t they.

Lily well done on getting around your little grandson the trouble is we are tempted to laugh as they are so small and so determined but you are absolutely right in teaching him how to treat people. How lovely to have someone to focus on that distracts you from personal worries and gives such pleasure. That is the first comment I made when I discovered my BC “this can’t be happening I haven’t got grandchildren yet” how ridiculous is that and nothing like putting the pressure on my kids (they don’t take any notice of me)

P
Sorry to hear you had that worry regarding the cough and glad to hear it can be explained and hopefully dealt with.
Your garden sounds wonderful and I know what you mean about just getting on with it. At first I was really tentative as my arm hurt when I used it too much and under my arm really smarts but I now put a sleeve on which also protects my arm from being scratched and allows me to do more. I too moved a few very large pots yesterday but I cannot wait until hubby gets home it drives me made I just like to get on with it. Happy digging!

Lorraine

I have been told silk bedding (sounds very luxurious!) really helps with keeping the body either cool when overheated and warm when cool all sounds a bit too simplistic but maybe worth investigating on the web.

Nicky

thanks I do have a good pair of leather long sleeved gardening gloves. I had 26 lymph nodes removed in all so it makes me a bit nervous but as you rightly say the biggest risk is an infection. The only reason my gardening worried me a bit is I know of a lady locally who developed lymphodema from just that, doing her gardening. It is so horrible that we just can’t get on with life without all these reminders.

Angie I know I have said this before but I really find swimming helps with getting the lymph moving and my arm and underarm always feel so much better after I have swam so I try to go at least once a week.

Anyway as I am not at work today I am going to do the gardening!!

love to you all Bev x

Hi everyone
All this gardening talk is putting me to shame! We have a large garden but too many rabbits so I’ve just been concentrating on pots of things this year until we can stop the little b*ggers! Tomatoes, loads of herbs, chillies, leeks and spring onions is about our lot - plus a rhubarb plant that has produced the goods this year.
Hope everyone is well and not finding the heat too much - and that’s just in the UK! I suffered so badly after my primary dx when I went into an early (temporary) menopause, drenched or what? So I sympathise so much with Lisa as it seems worse the younger you are, however I’m sure the rest of us don’t feel like that! I’m not too bad and get hot but nothing like the other time when I would get hot flushes 10 times a day (and night). Still using a fan at night whilst it’s this warm, however I also used it last ‘summer’ when we didn’t have a hot spell.
Talking of heatwaves my YD is in Bulgaria where, you guessed it, there isn’t one! Loads of storms predicted before she went and continuing all week. They usually get about 3 rainy days a month right now so I guess she won’t be impressed when she hears about the UK - far hotter
Take care all

hi girlies

wow i must have lost pounds ( I WISH) Been dripping with this weather. cant even enjoy coffee when ur out cos have to sit wiping your face. but its lovely really.

been in the garden, brought a lovely rose today, i missed having flowers last year so making up for it.

enjoy the rest of the sun, have to get the paddling pool out.
x

Hi,
Lorraine I love flowers too and I am lucky that hubby and my Mum buy me lots of flowers. Since I had Bc there has not been a day without flowers in the house as I said they made me feel happy looking at them. I think I had 29 flower presents after my op and it was like living at the florist, fantastic while they lasted. I have also been buying plants for the garden but I don’t do any digging just give recommendations where they should go - lazy devil!Hubby would live in the garden and do just that if his back let him. Son has caught the bug too and they compete to do the edging of the lawn! Can I lend one of them to you? What colour was your rose, I love the scented ones, no I love all roses! Is it safe to be a naked spongebob after your last report on Victor?!!! Nicky you can’t do less than me in the garden lol. I need to find my fan but not too bad at the mo. Poor littlun with all that rain. She probably won’t care and will have had a great time despite it. Are your Florida plans up and running yet? How were the days off, nice and peaceful or busy and manic? I am cruising down to 7 weeks holiday and can’t wait. Perks of the job. How are you doing on the tablets and also the palpatations? Bev you are all good putting up with those sleeves. I have never seen one and hope I never do from the sound of it. They only took one lymph node from me so hopefully I can take risks with lymph and get away with it. I do use a backpack for schoolbooks though instead of a hand held ton of bricks. The first thing I said when dx was but I wanted to live to be 98 or 100 and my surgeon said well you still can. What classics did anyone else come out with? Grandchildren don’t start me off, so yummy you could eat them! MD asked me to collect him from nursery tonight and he had been playing in the soil and mud, you should have seen the state of him. He announced ‘I wet myself today Nanna, that’s why I’ve got these funny trousers on’. Oh dear you shouldn’t do that now, what happened? 'Well my pants just wouldn’t go down in time so they made me do it! 'He’s a real man - nothing is ever his fault! Lisa hope you are enjoying yourself after that nasty scare. Angie are you ok buddy, give us an ok shout if you can.
I went to the school prom last night. It is my tutor group’s year so had to be there. It was the most enormous meal, all planned by the kids, boys I suspect! Vegetable soup and rolls, full roast beef dinner with giant yorkies, then sticky toffee pudding with acres of toffee sauce and cream, chocolate hearts for everyone after. After that and dancing through my students to embarass them (they weren’t?) I came home and was so hot I laid in a tepid bath for almost an hour to cool off, reading a Jilly Cooper book. Woke up lat and went to school with twinkly glitter everywhere and big bags under my eyes. Didn’t need much lunch either! My wedding anniversary at the weekend and hubby has said I can buy whatever I like as he has already bought a new camera for himself (while I was out dancing last night). It has blink detection - what the heck is that? Any good ideas what shall I ask for? I am no good when given too much choice like this, what a ditherer.
Have a smile for me tomorrow
Lily x x x x

Hi Lily
The week off was lovely. A few things I had to do with YD and then a catch up on all the odd jobs/filing etc I needed to do. The weather was just right, not too hot like this week otherwise I wouldn’t have got anything done! I also sat out in the garden in the sun reading books - something I couldn’t do last year mainly because of chemo but also because we had no sun LOL. My palpitations are still not totally sorted which is annoying but they seem to be linked now with the tablet bisphos! These also give me wind but in the burping way not the other way! It’s never easy is it, dealing with side effects? Generally though I’m fine, just chasing around some followup appointments which has taken ages being passed from one secretary to another. We have booked Florida and we’re all really excited about it. I know it will be hot and humid but this week has given me some training  I will take it easy and stay at the apartment complex if I need a break. We also have a few other breaks organised so have a pretty hectic summer ahead, which I’m also looking forward to after last summer’s complete washout - in more ways than one!
Glad your prom went well - how lovely to go this year with all the chemo behind you - I remember you talking about it last year and how to disguise your bald patch! Also it’s so nice not to have to watch what we have to eat isn’t it? I remember last year avoiding salads at any time we were out when I really would have liked one. As to the anniversary - is it a biggie? Either way as OH has treated himself to a new toy - why don’t you buy something that would give you a treat? A friend of ours has one of those heated massage pads that goes on the back of a chair and says it’s bliss especially if you ache a bit - I’m thinking of getting one myself!
To everyone else have a great day. I remembered a tip I had last time with the hot flushes - at night get one of the travel spray bottles from Superdrug or Boots and fill it with cold water. Spray yourself when you get a hot flush - it really helps especially if you’ve got a fan going at the same time! Otherwise you can buy Cooling sprays in cans at the same places and the branded one (can’t remember it’s name) is very good but it does contain a chemical which helps it cool down but also means it’s not just water. Having said all this I was so hot last night it took me ages to get to sleep and I’m feeling sleepy already but have to go to work, oh well.
Take care everyone
Nicky x

Nicky the florida trip sounds great and it shouldn’t be too humid. We went to Florida years ago (the disney thing with young kids which was great fun) and I was so surprised how comfortable the heat was as although very hot but nice dry heat but maybe it depends on whereabouts you go there and what time of year it is. Sorry to hear the palpitations are still causing grief.

Lily it did make me laugh reading about your young grandson as you say he is a typical bloke already by the sounds of it. What do you have planned for your anniversary? what a wonderful suggestion you can buy whatever you like have you decided yet? I just can’t imagine what I would buy probably another plant for the garden (bit obsessed)Glad the prom went well it is fun to be part of all those events particularly after last year struggeling through things instead of enjoying them.

Lorriane my mum kindly bought me a new climbing rose for the garden the other day it is called “Penny Lane” and has the most wonderful perfume and beautiful pure white flower. Roses are my favourite.

I am off to have dinner tonight with my son and his girlfried at their flat which will be lovely. I have put together a hanging tub for their balcony which we can install this evening so long as hubby and son do not let the damn thing go whilst fixing it on the railings as the balcony is three floors up!

Have a good week.

Bev xx

Hi de hi,
rather an expensive journey home from school tonight! To set the scene, I had been meaning to go to the loo since 11 am but never managed to find time to get there and was drinking loads as hot. It got to 3.30 and thought, can’t be bothered to walk right down there, I’ll wait till I get home. Within reach of home and fast approaching a large roundabout when hubby rings to say son’s in trouble, exhaust has fallen off and could I go to help as I am nearer!!! Diverted to find him, where he had pulled the rest of the exhaust off. I was very glad of my newly installed fancy phone that you just shout ‘dial ?’ and it does so (another of hubby’s presents to himself, but apparently it doesn’t count as he had one put in my car too - ha ha). We eventually found a garage with the correct exhaust and willing to fix it immediately. So we set off with him driving this car with no exhaust, hazards flashing, 2 friends in with him and going about 20 mph because it was shaking the car so much they thought it might blow up. I decided to drive infront, which was a wise move from the number of people trying to escape the noise and fumes coming out. Guess who was the only one able to pay? By the time I got home it was 7 hours without the loo and I had a heck of a lot more sympathy for little chap and his accident and the poor dog who I expect to hang on every day lol.
Bev still not sure what to ask for. I am a bit of a jewellery freak so maybe that. Hubby suggested a personalised plate for my car. It will be our 29th on Sunday. (Yes I got married when I was 4 lol). Hope the meal went well and I checked the news for reports of people killed by hanging baskets just in case. Nicky I’m so glad you had a nice break and well deserved. Trouble is I always find it hard to get going again!Do you mean the tablets are causing more palpatations? Blooming annoying to lose the vein diggers and pick uo another side effect. Can you put up with it rather than return to the other treatment? Holiday sounds fab. I booked our taxi tonight and need to visit the doc to see if I still need to take any precautions or jabs as there seem to be different recommendations for Turkey. Yes I remember the bald patch problem too at the last prom. Probably didn’t quite realise how poorly I was looking! I had a chuckle about you suggesting anything heated how we all are lol!! Maybe an ice bucket to put my feet in at night!! My neighbours had one of those massagers that laid over the sofa back and wooden things that move up and down. They said try this, but I found it really painful on my spine and had to get up quick, so try it out first. Might be different as there’s was not heated but quite expensive I gather.Bought my mini fan for the plane but must get some of that spray too.
Are you ok Lisa and Angie and Julia?
Lily x x

lily 2000
,
have you got a nice bench or something in the garden, i would pick one of those wooden ones on a frame that swings, and just lounge about and enjoy the sun. or if its jewellery you fancy, maybe a nice bracelet, the list is endless. i could think of loads. the rose i brought was a lovely salmon pink, and it is scented. you made me smile talking of little one, i just love the things they say, especially “i love you nanny”, ah bless them.

nicky 08

so sorry you having trouble with tabs, i seem to be ok on mine, but i do try to leave it the 2 hrs after taking them, and defineatly avoid milk till later, dont know if that helps. i hope you get it sorted. mine are called bisofs i think.

bevvy

i like the sound of your rose, this is the first in my garden.

everyone take care x

Hi everyone: Sorry not been on here for a couple of weeks, but have been reading all your news. You all seem very busy and generally dealing with the horrids as they come up. All the holiday plans seem great – at the moment I think we have enough hot here – can’t wait for it to go away. I used to love the heat – Greek islands were my favourite – but now find it oppressive – think it is the humidity in the UK that is the worst bit.

I’m doing fine – saw my surgeon on Monday – again all OK. Now don’t see anyone until my lovely Prof in October. I have a problem with the ring finger on my right hand – apparently I have a node on the tendon – sounds exciting – not! I need to get to the orthopaedic people to get it removed otherwise it could make my finger fold in towards my palm – a bit like carpel tunnel thingy. Am seeing GP on Monday to get a referral.

Re all the talk about surgery arm and lymphodema – he said that I must continue to exercise it as I don’t have any problems at the moment and full mobility – still have the dead patch but no probs apart from that. Also having lost all my lyph nodes (24) my body will tray to drain the arm around the back of my shoulder - sounds odd to me but I guess he should know - and exercise will make that happen.

Having looked at my grossness have joined the gym (recently stayed at friend’s house in Suffolk and I swear she got the mirrors from the funfair – caught sight of myself getting out the shower – thought someone had let in a pink hippo!!!) However, different gym this time – Virgin Active. Huge place, beautifully air conditioned and have a personal trainer for about the first month as part of the deal. He is aware of the lymph problems as he has had previous ladies with the same thing. Have given myself three months to make a difference – will also have to sew up the mouth! I am still gardening and just take care, if I get scratched or anything just dose it up with large amounts of antiseptic.

Lily: Hope you have a fabulous anniversary this weekend – jewellery is always a good choice – I think over the years Dick has bought me so many pairs of earring I can wear a different pair every day for at least a month! Go for quality – diamonds are nice!!! We hit 40 years in Feb next (yes I was a child bride too!!) and are trying to work out what to do. Feb is too cold to go anywhere in UK or Europe so may wait until April-ish – maybe go to Paris on the train – just have a great dinner somewhere on the day – will see nearer the time. You have fun whatever you decide to do.

Well, that’s about it – hopefully this horrid hotness with go away in the next couple of days and we can get back to the usual English summer – wet and cool!

Hope you all keep fit and healthy, will watch your progress.

LOL

well hi everyone

i defenitly feel as though ive been fried now, brought grandsons a new paddling pool, think im going to get the one they have at my house out, and dip my feet. i dont know if the hot flushes are worse or if its just the weather because everyone else is hot too. but my face is wet through and so uncomfortable, i cant even do my power walking at the moment, so weight will struggle to come off, because eating is one thing the weather doesnt stop us doing.
lily 2000
hope you and hubby have something nice planned for weekend, mind you i bet he wouldnt mind a nice night in(if you know what i mean)
been to see grandchildren pick up their awards theyve got from school, theyre doing so well.
lymphodema clinic tommorow, i havnt been doing excercises so much, and i think its definatly worse, so i need to get back to them.

brought one of those electronic fly squatters, so im ready for em tonight if they attack me when im getting some sleep.
keep enjoying the sun everyone, at least we must be losing some calories all these hot flushes.

Hi,
well I managed to park under a tree at school so at least I was not like a roasted chicken as usual, until it cooled down. Getting in cars has to be one of the worst things and then I get all the needles from the prickly heat, yowee.Just been and caught hubby with great hot legs on my side grrrr. Love it in the winter but at the mo there is an invisible wall where ‘hot bits’ may not cross lol. Someone has sneakily walked off with my bedroom fan too.
Seems to be the week for bother as our son just rang to ask what to do if a ceiling is bulging and water is dripping out from the bathroom above! Thankfully not ours but he now knows how to turn water off and wait for a plumber in the morning when it is cheaper! Lovely to watch the children at school Lorraine, I will be upset to miss my little charmer do his things at school. Drink water out the fridge to cool down. I ordered this tank you fill up with a little tap. Trouble is getting others to fill it and not just use it.
Julia so pleased the check up went well but poo about another bit going wrong :frowning: . Still hopefully it will be minor and maybe even a local? My gym days have disappeared so feeling guilty about that too. Yes I love earrings too and diamonds are my favourite of course ha ha. I get told off for not wearing the things I have but my rings really squeeze and I am scared they will get stuck and become painful. Swinging chair sounds fab but we have a big deck behind the house and it won’t really fit on there with my banana plant, table, etc as pretty full already. I am loving your ideas so much I feel like asking for all of them lol.
