I wonât see you on Wednesday at the support group as I have had a direct contact with swine flu and I am not chancing that with any of you, let alone some poor sole who could be at a very tricky stage of treatment. By next week I will be ok or on the sofa I guess. Anyone know how long the incubation period is?

Daisy, well done you, that is definetly the worst part over, and Julie your last one on Friday! hope Mr.S can sort out painful boob (I was under him once you know!) Lily, I have had letter from Primary School aswell with suspected case of swine flu. National guidlines say itâs not necessary to close schools, but what worries me is the students/staff who are more at risk than others. As you know ED has health problems so I find it concerning, I will be glad when they break up this week. I am still very up and down with everything, good and bad days but hoping to see more and more good ones. Looking forward to a meet up soon, havenât had cheese cake for ages.

Greetings everyone.
All well with me, just resting up and getting my strength back. Off to see Nev or Scary-Mary on Monday, then RADS planning on 28th.
The burping is still getting on my nerves, but Gripe Water is doing the trick, plus it is so delicious! Last jab today, so my aches and pains are easing up a bit.
I am so looking forward to eating a meal and tasting it properly. I want big, fat, juicy prawns, smothered in rose marie sauce and cod & chipsâŠohhh no, I am now drooling like a dawgâŠ
Off to see Morrissey on Sunday, will be in the disabled section complete with scarf and a matching one around my mouth to avoid all the lergies (only kidding), I will look like a Mexican bandit!
Looking forward to the next meet up. Let me know where and when.

Well last one out of the way I am so pleased !!! Burst a vein again so had to put hand in hot water to find another one!! Which they did, Felt tearful when coming out and in there before i left,
I am managing to eat a tiny bit of food and drink tonight which is good, took all steriods and will take tomorrow and sickness tablets too! 5 more injections to look forward too now and hertburn and indigestion and then the lovely week of mouth ulcers, then scan and planing meeting! Got tablets to start taking in 3 weeks , Letrozlole /famera

Congratulations and well done Julie. Seems to have flown by but I know it will not have seemed like it to you. Hope the last one doesnât hang around too long and remember no repeats next month so each grotty day is the last one. Can I hear another Warners coming to celebrate?

Saw Scary-Mary today who was a very happy lady, I think she took a bit of a shine to my other half. All ok with me, a good grope from her and my breasts were declared fighting fit. She did seem upset that I wasnât poorly and suffering from the last chemo!
So, off to Colechester next Tue to be marked up, with 20 zaps coming at some point.
Morrissey was brilliant, I really enjoyed it. Next gig is The Specials again in Nov, then Depeche Mode Dec.

Went for bloods today and very pleased that it was almost empty and not full of sneezing people. Going on holiday soon. We are trying to arrange a meet this week. I think we are looking at Wed or Thurs evening about 6pm but most likely to be Thurs. Any good?

Just a quick not to say wont be able to make it thursday as seeing friend already and also dont feel like eating this week either always the same! I have been getting hot on and of all day! Its like hot flushes like mad! Will see how it is tomorrow! I am dreading tablets that will need to take as they make you have hot flushes too! Great! B coming from hairdresser so may be late but said she will catch up with us. I may be held up a little too, hopefully not though. Seeing the prof in the morning so having big breakfast in the restaurant first and also going out to lunch. That is if he turns up before lunchtime lol.Leave a big space round the table for me and my big tum!

Hi All - planning went fine, but donât start RADS until 18th Aug. Major problem with that as I had been told I would start 10th so my mate booked that week off and now canât change it!! So am begging lifts from folk. Also, all my mates will be back at school when my BBQâing is still in full swingâŠ

I had my ct scan today,not sure when i will hear though,I have got headed paper for Pink Party and have looked who to send them to , not sure when to do it as I know we said not too early, so maybe send them after my holiday next week about the 10th?
I am glad finished chemo , now just radiotheraphy in a few weeks, I do hope everyone is well and having fun in between the showers!!

Hi Ladies
You will be so proud of me! Friday night I went out to celebrate my mates birthday. Well, I fell into bed at 4.30a.m - what a lush!
Went to a pub, then onto a club! I was only on tonic water and camera duty, but I had a scream watching the clubbers. At 39 I think i may have been the youngest in there! Some of the âladiesâ had clothes on that I would have worn 20 years ago, lots of fake bling to match their tango tans, leopard print tops, thigh length boots - they were a sight! I havenât laughed so much in ages. I only managed a few dances, then hopped back up on my bar stool to people watch.
Then went out for a pizza last night and I am pleased to say my appetite is back! I ate like a piggy.
3 weeks post chemo and I am still red cheeked, and my skin is very dry. If one more peson says âyou look wellâ I will scream or nut them.
Started Tamoxifen on Friday, nothing nasty so far.
