Just a short note to say hi to you all! Not had results of brain scan yet, My rads start on 18th same as Daisys!! I finish on the 8th Sept. Times are all over the place but all mornings at least!!
Well of to bed in mo as up early to go away with mum for 5 days to rainy Whiby by coach, still be a nice brak and different scenery! Hope to see you all soon , love juliexxx

I am back from holiday with mum,It was spoilt by painful back breast, side, you name it where scars are!I rang up doctors, breast care nurses while away would you believe and am going to see doctors Mon and Tue breast clinic AGAIN!
To top it all I lost my camera while away and had lots of pictures that meant alot to me on it beside the holiday pics! So feel really down at the moment , its so annoying as finishes chemo but always problems it seems!
O well have rads starting on 18th , How is everyone?
Will send letters to companies this coming week for hopefully raffle prizes!

Julie - sorry to hear of your problems, don’t let it get you down too much. Maybe, just maybe, the camera will be found by an honest person and find it’s way back to you. Did you report it to the local Police station?
Tamoxifen has been ok so far, just one day of aches and pains, but NOTHING compared to the pains I got on the injections.
I am full of the sniffles, got a hacking cough and have lost my voice. No temperature and although it sounds silly, I feel fine. Family are enjoying the peace and quiet. Had a fairly good nights sleep, until I got the dreaded tickly throat, then cough, cough, cough, drink, cough…drink.
Well, I hit the big 40 tomorrow and shall be spending the day at either Thorpe Park or Chessington with the hubby and kids. I have decided to get a wheelchair and a pass for special people so I dont have to queue. (you all know I DONT do queues!!!) My GP wrote me a letter and having spoken to Chessington, that is all I need for a wristband. I have a bad feeling though that hubby will develop wheelchair-rage tomorrow like he does with a shopping trolley!

Well I had such a great holiday that I was tempted to lose my passport and stay on longer. Haven’t felt so good for a while, well since 29 Feb 2008 when someone decided to burst my little bubble. I am under siege from stinky old clothes but progressing well after today. Nose is peeling 
Can we have a big meet next week, either lunch or evening if anyone can’t make it during the day? Julie keeping everything crossed for you still and hope things were ok with your checks this week on the aches. So hard to ignore and not worry. Flora I am looking out a big crossword to keep you busy while you keep your feet up.

Having alot of pain still, been to see Mr Smith,Breastcare nurse, my doctor ! got painkillers loads of them to take ! Even got my old surgical vest on now !though it may help to hold in the swelling! Also bought 2 nursing bras as soft and bigger cups! Spent so much on bras this year, have a drawer full of them! Been told its Lymphodiamia a bit in back and breast etc! but not told what to do about it!
I have started taking Fermara tablets , seems ok so far ,I went to take some tic tacs with a glass of water yesterday thinking they were tablets!!!losing it!!!

I have had 2 like Sharon , boob abit red already! And just feel painful as usual, saw Dr on Tue said just to take painkillers still!was told by marks that bra looks too tight but I said it was a 40c and one of my losest ones! Said maybe dont wear one! trying to wear crop top strechy ones like lycra stuff! Do you think be ok? But Aqueus cream on too,

Hi Julie and Sharon, glad to hear the rads are not too bad at present.
The pimk party if people can wear a bit of pink would be good but not too compulsory!! I think we should as it is breast cancer awareness month.
You will not be allowed to take your own drink however the bar is reasonably cheap so not too bad. maybe we as a committee can take some bubbly in I think we deserve it!!!
