I think normal for pain & tenderness - I rang my BCN a few times to double check
I had some ups & downs after Surgery, mainly from having to try & sleep semi-upright & on my back (side sleeper) so had to create a nest of cushions to stop rolling but thankfully nothing that needed any intervention - It was lovely to get the dressings off & have a proper shower after a couple of weeks x
Thanks @daisyd - I am also a side sleeper so it has been hard sleeping on my back, I have used cushions to ensure I dont roll over in the night. Agree will be good to get the dressings off and be able to have a proper shower. I have appt on Thursday with BCN to check wounds. They did call me to check in day after surgery but I was half asleep 
. I thought the wound might have been bleeding but I think it was the red antiseptic stuff that was painted everywhere.
Todayās good: radiotherapy planning went well! I was a bit nervous, but I think Iāll get used to the process, doesnāt seem too bad - even with the breath holds. Met one of the radiologists and he was veryā¦ sparkly, is the best way to describe it 
He just made me quite happy to chat to him, gave me confidence. Almost made me excited to start! First Zoladex injection too, stings like a mofo (huge needle 
) but it was fine.
Todayās bad: talked myself into getting extra bloods done. Wasnāt supposed to get any but I told my oncologist about my beige diet and he put me down for lipids/hba1c - took them 25 mins to get 3 vials of blood cuz of how rubbish my veins are Also my DEXA shows I am mildly osteopenic already at 34 - not fun considering Iām never getting estrogen again 
Donāt have the full report yet, but been told to just get on some calcium/vit D. Iām trying to not worry about that yet, itās a long-term thing.
Thatās positive about the Radiologists. My oncologist is definitely one of the sparkly characters and it really does help. I finished my radiotherapy last week, apart from the driving every day for 15 sessions, it wasnāt too bad at all - and so far just look like have a bit of minor sunburn.
I guess the positive of all the tests is you are armed with all the data to make the best informed decisions - sending lots of positivity.
I had my 2nd zoladex yesterday, and didnāt hurt as much as first time, maybe because I knew what to expect. Havenāt found side effects too bad. Although had shingles jab on Friday and Covid jab today - I am over needles!!
My hair hasnāt started to grow back yet and Iām 6 weeks after last chemo. I did however spot one hair on my chin!
At least its just not me @sarahcatlover - I too can see my facial hair growing fastā
Yes facial hair is going mad for me too. And back-of-hand hair ! And underarm - I swear Iāve got more now than before chemo. Very annoying when all you really want is head hair!! Or in my case nasal hair - though I think thatās also coming back!
It is so strange how its growing back i still have no underarm air though. Like you @sam1204
my nose hair has not arrived, there is no more blood in my nose but still very sore!!
Hi. Iām 5 weeks post chemo. Not a rib in sight. No eyelashes eyebrows Nothing ??? Iām on 11 of 15 radiation tomorrow. I finish fully on Wednesday Itās a breeze after chemo. Zero effects. Hope everyone is well x

. Funnily i never lost my eyebrows or eyelashes, its 6 weeks tomorrow since my last chemo, so maybe they will stay 
. I get my post surgery pathology results 17/7, so assume I will find out then next steps regarding radiotherapy and other treatment. X
No idea what goes on with the hair, my leg hair has stubbornly stayed the entire time (have left it - hairier than mr hubbys now) but only have 1/2 an eyebrow left & a coupe of eyelashes 
.. itās very odd
Lack of nose hair is a bother, Iāve only jusr had my last treatment so letās see how the next weeks/months go

I completed session 9 of 15 today (frustrating as it should gave been 10 but 1st session goy cancelled).
What are you using? My skin is now going a little red but had review yesterday and they were happy x
Hi lovely ladies I hope you are all doing well and enjoying this great weather. Post sentinel lymph node removal, did any of you experience swelling in your armpit? I am day 9 after surgery, wounds were checked by BCN on Thursday and all okay, but swelling has got bigger since yesterday. Wondering if it will just start uk reduce by itself? I have been religiously doing the exercises.
@moonandstars1 it didnāt happen to me but it sounds like some kind of seroma or oedema. I would definitely get it checked. Thereās a difference between retained fluid which will gradually be subsumed back into the body, and a swelling which is increasing. Hopefully itās nothing serious
If itās any help @daisyd my facial hair grew back pretty quickly after ending chemo (couple or three weeks). Also underarm. Nasal hair still not right after 9 weeks but itās better than it was. I lost all leg hair but itās showing signs of reappearing now

I had some seroma swelling after surgery which did come & go across my recovery- I did my exercises & stayed hydrated & took pictures to track
Agree with @sam1204 worth just getting it checked

Thanks @sam1204 and @daisyd for your advice. I have been doing all the exercises but even the warm up arm shrugs have felt uncomfortable this morning. There is no redness just swelling, doesnāt feel any worse than yesterday though and I will call my BCN first thing tomorrow as they arenāt in over the weekend. Definitely donāt want to sit for 8hrs+ in A&E. Xx
Popping over from March starters - I had a Sernoma. Didnāt rush to A&E but called BCN who fitted me on the day I called and drained a load of fluid off with a simple needle aspiration. No pain and felt much more comfy when it had been done. I only needed it done once. Just call in the morning and they can review it and drain it if required.
