@sammy75 doing ok. Quite tired today and a bit groggy! But could be worse. Sun is shining here today so will get out a walk shortly. (Not even dressed yet though)
@sammy75 You’re doing well going out for walks every day. All good here apart from tiredness but that’s probably more due to lack of sleep. No major horror stories though, thankfully x
Its hasnt stopped bloodly raining here so glad its nice where you are
I was tired last night and fell asleep after my tea at 6.30 till 9 then didnt have a great night as still on steriods. But slept on and off from 10.30 till 7.
I know its just the beginning but taking the win today. Are yours every 2 or 3 weeks!!! I havent been given injections so trying to rest and eat well x
@sammy75 well done on the rainy walks. I’ve done one every day till today. I think it’s rained here for 40 days and nights . Definitely feel better for getting out.
Cycle 2 went well this morning, atm feeling fine. Drinking loads of tea ! Asked to see my blood results and was astonished how much my neutrophil count has dropped in one week (everything else ok). Wouldn’t be surprised if I’m on some kind of meds before too long. I absolutely don’t want delays either. Frustrated that you obviously have to wait for them to fall of a cliff before they do anything preventative .
Different anti sickness, some codeine for my achy bones, laxatives for the codeine! And some mega strong anti biotics because my wisdom tooths decided to play up so not taking any risks
Are you having the injections ref boosting white blood cells? My blood results are uploaded to patients know best so I can see the trends which is interesting.
Well done on cycle 2!
Delays are a pain but if you look through the monthly threads , it’s not unusual. I’m a pragmatist, if a delay is required it’s for the best of intentions.
Not on injections atm, no. To be fair last week I had chemo and herceptin, so like a double dose, both of which impact neutrophils, so hopefully this week with just chemo the drop will steady or be less. I asked where I could see my results and they’re not in NHS app. They just said they’d fill them in my treatment book each week. Old school low tech here in Derbyshire

Wow well done @mai3. Super organised. Am sure you’ll ace it .
I think the hat with the peak you’ve posted is one of the ones I’ve bought - arrived today. Just had my second cycle and hair still intact but I’m only on Pax which I think is less harsh than the others like EC.
