Glad all went OK for you Sarah, it’s never quite as bad as you think it will be is it. Morphine sure is a girl’s best friend!! Make sure you rest up when you get home, only thing you should be lifting is a glass of wine and a chocolate or several chocolates ! Sending you virtual hugs. X

Well, I started the thread so I say you can stay on as long as you like/need Ange!!!I am dipping in and out of a few threads and talk to different people on each.
I meant that as a reply for you Spongebob.We started a just had my surgery/ lumpectomy thread and people moved over there and some carried on talking on both threads.Seems to happen naturally as people move through treatment.I suggested starting a “supporting each other through treatment July 2015” thread to gather together anyone who wants to carry on talking and supporting each no matter what treatment they go on to have.
Hiya Spongebob and Jill Glad your bloods were Ok. Mr Plastic was really lovely. I am still going with delayed recon and I have picked the DIEP flap (such a weird name!!) it seems to have the best look when done, but I may change my mind down the line and he is cool with it :). He said my date should still stand he was discussing my case at MDT. So if I don’t hear Monday Morning I am going to call them. I have told work so I hope it’s 21st :). Apart from that I am just taking each day at a time xxxxxx
That maybe the dam spell checker made me laugh yes once we have both got through our operations it would be fantastic to meet up. I think on this site you can private message so I will try and work out how to add you so we can talk out of the forum too. Will keep you posted when that confirmation letter comes through and we can then do the count down together big hugs xxxxxx

Hi Sarah,I’m ok physically but feel very wobbly mentally,think all the stress and anxiety of the last few weeks has caught up with me.Dont feel like I could deal with anything too challenging at the moment.

Had a good weekend, Saturday on the Rutland Water osprey cruise for a coule of rather windy hours! Saw some of the amazing ospreys that are nesting there, were seriously endangered for many years, no breeding pairs at all im the UK. Great work been done to bring them back. Seeing one fly down like a missile to catch a fish with their 5 foot wingspan is quite something. Felt quite emotional, probably the Anastrazole! Tennis on Sunday, grest match but I did want Federer to win really. Going to enter the ballot for tickets for next year, opens in August if anyone is interested. Anyway, guess what, apparently my endoscopy biopsy results are in, that’s the good news. The bad news is I haven’t had a copy, so no idea what they are! Will have to talk to the GP tomorrow, grrrrr! BC surgeon will discuss with me on 06 August and decide the way forward. Ho hum, having BC has certainly taught me the art of waiting,lol. SB don’t get your boobs out when you go to dentist ,Francine and I both had near misses with that one …Francine can’t believe you have to wait til 6th August that’s ridiculous,you must have the patience of a saint.
