Just diagnosed and wanting to talk to people who understand

Well I’m guessing they want to start chemotherapy as soon as or it was the earliest appointment available. Should I be worried she is getting appointments really quick? No won’t be driving there x

I think she wants to do chemotherapy asap!

Most of us just want to get cracking with getting rid.

How was your first chemo session? Xx

That’s good to hear  xx

I don’t know where you live Barry, but  I would suggest you try to get as far in as you can by car or train and then get a taxi to St Barts. Don’t get the tube, somebody my bump her, there just too much hussle down there!

Dieting stinks right now, but a friend from Japan is coming to dinner tomorrow, so it’s a traditional roast and then banoffii pie, so definitely a treat night tomorrow!

Treats are good for the soul Amanda!!!

We live in Barkingside at the end of the Central Line. I know I’m not sure she’ll be in any condition to make the journey. Ooh nice about the meal. Can’t they make you some salmon teriyaki n rice with veg lol xx

Nikki loves chocolate! Lol xx

I love chocolate, Banoffie pie, and wine and gin… The list is endless!!

All good for the soul…

Everything is fine in moderation  xx

Ok I have to admit that I haven’t given up anything since I was diagnosed in January but am making a big effort to eat more fruit and veg and chocolate of course! I figure after 4 ops in 6 months and a 10 day stop in hospital that I’m going to enjoy my grub and some treats. Had to knock the chocolate covered sprouts on the head, too much protest from the lowest part of the anatomy! Fortunately it seems to like the chocolate covered raisins (I love them and of course they count towards your 5 a day!). Feeling very tired today, takes me a long time to get over anaesthetics and they gave me some morphine this time, which I hate. Better have a nice chocolate eclair followed by an early night x Francine

One glass and one marshmallow sounds fine to me. Did you have any green veg today though? x

Well I was waiting for my plan and still reeling from shock. 18 weeks chaemo, five weeks rest op radiotherapy and tablets. Some plan. Yikes

You definitely deserve the wine and marshmallow then  x

Did you think it would be shorter treatment TC? x

Gosh TC, that’s a lot to take on board. No wonder you’re reeling from it all. It’ll kick the **bleep**ty BC’s arse for sure! I still marvel at anyone going through chemo and coping with it all, especially those ladies with young children. How do they do it?

I agree fuffs…Damn nightmare but no b l o o d y choice! X
