The problem with information is it can make you more confused and anxious at times , difficult to know where to draw the line and just trust the medics and what they are advising.
In my case I am both Her2+ and Er+. So I get herceptin and they have not made there minds up with my hormone therapy. She said she didn’t want to bombard me with information. Good luck tomorrow Sarah and all the results ladies

Hi again Barry No I was lucky enough to just have a sentinel node biopsy and nine of the 3 taken were positive. That’s why i probably don’t need chemo.
Hi Sarah. Good luck for today. My appt has been put back to 4pm so bit cheesed off. Rather have got it over with in the morning, less nerve wracking. You’d think after waiting for results four times now I’d be used to it but it doesn’t get any easier. Will have to take my mind off it by doing my company accounts, hate that job! Trying to keep on top of it all has been hard but has given me something to focus on over the last 8months.
That’s a pain Francine,waiting around all day really is the pits.All my appointments for results etc were late afternoon too.
fingers crossed it means it’s good news as they feel it can wait a few hours more Francine. Also good luck today Sarah x

It scans your whole body! It’s more of a detailed scan as I can’t have an m.r.i because I have a tissue expanders that have metal in them x

Talking of waiting… Still waiting for my start date… Probably get it next week when I visit. Just want to start now. Sick note runs out on Tuesday so will have to get another one. I want to have my hair cut short but won’t do it until I have a date xx
Chemo done on my way home and pet scan all clear so no bleeping cancer anywhere else and no more bleeping scans yipeeeee. Xxxxxx

You should get your date next week and you will get invited into the chemo unit so they can explain what happens. I had my hair cut a couple of weeks before so I could get used to it short and so could other people could too as mind was long and have been advised not to get a long haired wig as they don’t last very long because they rub on your clothes. I wore my wig today! Mother in law thought I had had my haircut xxxxxx
