Thanks for the music Mai, I’m feeling a bit bruised and have gone lopsided and braless. It only hurts if Iit gets knocked but I have a bouncy 4 year old. The night sweats aren’t much fun and not helping the tiredness.

Hi Jay, the radiotherapy gives a similar ‘glow’ to the one you get from sunburn. It also makes you tired but the sweats come from the Tamoxifen I started at the same time as radiotherapy. Add in the achy muscles lingering slightly after dozy tax hell and sleep isn’t great right now. So its a quiet weekend for me with comfy pjs featuring highly. X
Hope to get right drain out tomorrow before I go home in the afternoon. Left one may stay in til tues. but there isn’t much so possibly earlier. Had to take bra off as not comfortable and didn’t fit. Don’t think there is a size for these right now ?
Morning ladies. After a disturbed night due to a very poorly lady in the room next door and me having major ? wind( what’s that about?)also managed to go to the loo on my own yay! I just got woken up by the breakfast lady. Pain is minimal and I have not had any tablets since 10 last night. Looks like I am through the worst just must not over do it.
Sorry I have not kept up with everyone. Glad daffodil is ok. Well done on bell ringing Kayla.

still check in with everyone just haven’t posting in a while. I had my lumpectomy yesterday so currently resting up in bed. I’m so pleased to hear everyone is doing well xx
Morning all!
Woken up to a beautiful warm and sunny day, just to mean I have to wear my summer clothes which I have ready for Spain!
Waiting on the boiler man so I can get the school uniforms through the wash. Youngest son is having a belated birthday party ? ? tomorrow. Got 6 x 10 year olds for the day, pizza then going swimming to a pool with water slides and wave machine. Going to be hectic but he has waited until I knew I would be back on my feet!
Had a weird upsetting few days, found out my eldest son has been bullied at school since the start of year. He never said anything to us as he thought it would stop and I was going through treatment, he didn’t want to worry me. Anyway school is dealing with it. The ring leader was slapping the back of his head, pinching, kicking, pushing on stairs. They hid is rucksack on Monday and laughed as they watched him panic as he was looking for it.Final straw was jumping on his back on Weds and ripping his new rucksack. I did challenge him a few times last term as he was wearing shorts and had bruises on his legs. He just said he was clumsy and walked into a table. The signs were there but until he said something we couldn’t do anything. Bless him, he is such a quiet lovely young man and wouldn’t hurt a fly. Hopefully this is now sorted as the boy has been spoken too and warned.
Sorry for the off topic rant, just had to get it off my chest so to speak.
Off for my flu jab soon, more needles!

Oh heather that must be heart breaking. So glad he finally told you. Poor thing probably didn’t want to worry you. Once school know, they can usually sort it out. Just encourage him to tell you if it happens again . How old is he? Hugs gentle tho

Hopefully school will sort out the bullying, they claim zero tolerance and are on the case. It is my eldest son who is 14 and it happens in the quad at break and lunch where there are no adults and obviously no supervision! The school said the boy had been warned with “sanctions” but not sure if his parents are aware. We only have 3 more days this term so should be ok. His 2 best friends have been asked to stick with him all the time and report anything they see. He seems a whole lot happier now he has told us, not easy for a teenager.

Hi treehouse, my surgery was a day case admitted at 7:30 am went to theatre at 3 o’clock, back on the ward by 7, sent home at 9. I’m uncomfortable but nothing pain killers and bedrest can’t manage. I have blue wee and a blue boob from the dye ?
Scaring should be minimal just two incisions one at the side of my breast and then one under the arm from the node biopsy.
