Hi Carolyn had my second bout of fec on Wednesday just sleeping loads but least the sickness is at bay theyv given me higher dose of sickness pills …told me I’ve got 6 more to do then operation I hoping its shrinks enough to have a less invasive surgery …spirits are still up in smiling and positive is my game ???
So glad u r staying upbeat through it and the sickness is a nuisance but hopefully it will get better.
I had FEC too …it’s a very good tried and tested regime. I know of a 70 year old that is having 6 FEC at the moment and is coping well.

Yes that’s right …you get a kick in the teeth when dx but you come out the other side a much stronger person and " you stop to smell the roses" more with life rather than charge through it !!

Glad you are coping …it’s surprising how tough we women are with this damn disease but there is light at the end of the tunnel now and to b honest you are doing the hardest bit ( chemo) first …the rest will b easier …let your body tell you if its tired …sleep …if its hungry …feed it and if its angry …rant !!!

Hi Carole , I’m doing ok I’m now back at work just do 4 hours and I love it back to normality yayyyyyyyxx
T treatment starts next week should my bloods be ok and if it is chemo Wednesday then a week half of work x they’ve been great let me do what hours I want …dreading the t but I’m half way there il do it and deal with it as we do xxx Lv hugs x
Wow …you are doing well to be able to work through all this …it’s probably good for you to feel normal at work and not be at home in three day old pjs watching daytime tv!!

Hi Carolyn I’m doing great first bout of t was a bit of a ball ache but I got through it had to go to hospital on my 8th day of it as my temp was up and I got mouth thrush …thankfully bloods all ok and they gave me antibiotics …round 2 on Wednesday providing my bloods were ok find out tomorrow …going to the lakes for crimbo if alls ok break up for work tomorrow as I have time out when chemo is given …Feb should be my last one then op then rads they if to oz to see my family yayyyyyyyy xx hope your keeping well Lv hugs Amanda xxxxx??

What a great attitude you have and a lot of us have had a bit of a wobble when the chemo FEC changed to the second one. I did too …although mine was cmf and not tax .it’s accumitive so each one drags the body down a bit more !!
The lakes for crimbo sounds wonderful and I picture a log fire and mulled wine will be involved .
The op and rads will be a doddle after the chemo so you are doing fine.

Well sadly I should be in oz with my family but no they said no but I know I’ve got plenty of other times to go …lakes were great just back for round three of t treatment I wasn’t to bad on this one ,tired but that’s the norm isn’t it with chemo …can’t believe I’m near the end of it so relieved I’ve come through it x have a lovely new year Carolyn

Sorry u weren’t able to make the journey to oz but plenty of time after treatment is finished for that.
I’m so glad u r coping so well and once chemo finishes …u get your hair back again and for a woman its very important.
