Need Hug or Kick up the Backside

<Empty imported post>

Sounds horrible M - 90 mins is a long time so confined .I hope you get good news .

Fingers crossed Sue ???

That must be very frustrating for you Sue .Have you tried alternative medicine route - accupuncture/ Reiki / homeopathy ? Some of the cancer charities offer them free.- may be worth a try .

Not great Sue - being sent for various investigations re leg /joint pain which is now debilitating to the point where I’ve just hired a wheelchair to use in our holiday ?.Trying not to let my mind going to more sinister explanations for the pain but hard not too .What a dreadful year it has been just seem to replace one challenge with another !

I’ve had a whole arm full of blood tests and X-rays and I am going for a physio opinion.See GP again in couple of weeks if I don’t hear anything before .

Hello Delly Nice to see you back .

Thanks Ruby ,you sound like me just one thing after another - can’t remember what it feels like to be " normal" now !! To add to the difficulties husband has had a fall and thinks he may have broken his wrist - will have to go and get it checked out - don’t he will be pushing me in the wheelchair then … and looks like I will be doing all the driving bad legs or not ?

Good news about mammogram Sue and some progress re the fatigue .With the ME I found that identifying food insensitivities and allergies helped a bit - I became a lot more sensitive to things after I was diagnosed.Im having a bad one this week ( leaden legs ) and I think it is because I have had to take strong painkillers for leg pain .Yes I am also struggling with the extreme heat - haven’t been out much at all this week .

Thanks Jill x
Sorry that you are struggling. It can be one thing after another… Sending hugs xx

Hi, lovely “Hug” girls

Just having a catch up on yers. So sorry to hear you’re all suffering horrible pains and debilitating fatigue. What an absolute bu**er for you’s.

Rubes - Have you had your appointment yet? Hope it sheds some light on your probs and you can get some further help.

Jill - Jeez, I’m so sorry you’re still struggling so much, and about your hubby’s wrist. Where are you off to on holiday, and when??

Sue - That’s brill on your Mammo results. Forgive my ignorance, but why do you have another in only 6 months? I presume the course you’re going on, is related to your ME/CF, is it? Will it be dealing with diet, exercise and such? Yeh, I’m so with you on the heat. I feel I’m being a real mis, this time of year, as I find Summers difficult to deal with fullstop, since menopause and hot flushes, nine years ago. Glad for other people to enjoy though. Roll on Autumn, I say.

Anyone heard from Jobelle? If you’re looking in, Hi, and hope you’re doing okay. Actually, I’ll just send her a quick email.

Loads of love to you all

Dellywelly xxxxxxx

Hi Delly
I get a check up every 6 months… I think it’s just the way our hospital works. I have a mammogram in the Summer and then an appointment with the oncologist in the Winter. She deals with the on going hormone therapy and does a quick check too. They are very good at dealing with appointments but terrible with giving out results. Takes them ages!
Sue xx

Oh he’s gorgeous Sue - I want one !

Delly we had to cancel our holiday ( second year running ) as husband broke his arm and couldn’t drive - that along with all my difficulties with walking etc just made it too much of a challenge .:frowning:

Ahh Sue he’s adorable, part Bengal did you say? Will be very vocal! We have a tabby we inherited from our son who we swear has Bengal in him because he never shuts up!! ? The very reason he now lives with us!! ?

Thanks Delly! He is a real live wire at the moment… A bit of a handful!! Xx

Hi everyone!
Just to let you know I’m feeling alot better than this time last year xx

That’s great to hear Rachy.

Thanks Ruby ,I don’t have a good feeling about what’s going on with my legs as they saw unexplained bone loss on my x Ray - guess I will just have to deal with it and hope that any treatment will help the symptoms ( at least in the short term ) and give me some mobility back .

Thanks Delly for the good wishes .
