Hi Buddyfan, welcome to the forum, sorry you’re here. I started my chemo 3rd oct but am only doing fecx6 and not doing t part. As to which is worse from what I’ve read they’re equally bad for different reasons (fec can make you sick and is tough on hair, t is harsh on nails not sure what else). With regards to nail oils I think Shi was advising on that the other day so might be along in a bit to help. ?

Thanks ali, I’m ok now, I know I am best here till count is up to safe level and the lovely nurse has just given me a hug while I’ve had a cry on her shoulder, so battle armour back on and ok now. Thanks everyone. Can anyone help buddy fan below who’s having Tfec? Don’t know if anyone doing it that way round and could help advise. I’ll see if anyone from May can give any advise. Shi, really feel for you and its understandable for you to feel a bit sorry for yourself! Hopefully they can sort you for next time so this doesn’t happen again! We’re all with you though sending you positive thoughts and sparkles ????

Buddyfan I’ve asked if any of May ladies can help you with tips for t, they will jump on here with tips I am sure, they are amazing as are all ladies on here but May girls have all gained their chemo badges and know what’s what unlike us at the start of the journey. In regards to the T SE for me were better now sickness or constipation but you do get achey pains and feel tired keeping an eye on temp still important and again taste buds I only had one T as I switched to a different drug for this round and next one hope that helps
Also Epson salt baths are a good help, hands can get sore so use rubber gloves for washing up and moisturise with a good gentle cream, pace yourself S you can get really tired day 4 to 9 I did if you need a little sleep have one yeah that’s about it with Doxetaxal x
Meesh, my norfolk hairy legs are still intact, very dry tho so think I need to up my moisturising!!
Been a busy nite again for me…football & poker this eve, again had staff in but will still having to oversee things…will be glad when hubby returns!! Thank god I feel ok at the minute!

Ive just had the last of EC and start Herceptin and Doxetaxol next cycle all being well!!
Bit worried though at the nurse said you can have a reaction on Herceptin so I need to stay there for 6 hours and then have Chemo day after:0
My docetaxol, herceptin and permuzetab are all.9n treatment 4 too CK. They said i will be there all day but i think i am having them all together. I know Sam34 had her herceptin and permuzetab one day then chemo the next. I will have to ask xx

Good morning everyone, wishing everyone who had appointment well, everyone who’s on the chemo train well and everyone a good work day and as you can see just wishing everyone a great day ???thanks for well wishes ladies, bit of a wobble yesterday, but ok now thanks, it is what it is and I am in best place till they recover hair or no hair, actual living through this and beyond is more important than if I loose my hair in hospital ???love and sparkles shi ???couldn’t do it without you all thank you again xx
