just nipped into SCACO’s tent, I’ve cleaned it ( if only I did my own!) plumped up all the cusions, lit some scented candles and left a nice cold botttle of Presseco for her. Hosted her 2 finger sign to BC back up and put up fairy light saying welcome back SCACO.
LG still in place however I have a beautiful jewelled merkin that i will wear as a fascinater!!
See you in the JM we can watch Glastonbury on our large flat screen and really rock out!!!

Have fluffed up my cosy cushions, donned pj’s, and zipped up the tent to keep the cellulite gnomes thoroughly locked up. Everyone else should be safe.

SCACO we’ll try not to be to boisterous when we finish your welcome back concert…hopefully sleep will be deep and peaceful.

WOW!!! the woods look good tonite ready for Scaco, with all the lights twinkling and the merkins fluttering round in the breeze, and at least NE’s been buried somewhere in the mud of the RADS Rushes!!
I’m willing the dormice to shove off but they seem to have camped out in my tent, maybe they burrowed through from CM’s?? I seem to regularly miss at least an hour between 6-8pm at the moment, can’t think why!
Do keep an eye on that temp please June, or you’ll be carted off to Stalag 2 again and we’ll be re-excavating the tunnel!
Off to the JM now 'cos I think some gentle exercise in the form of table dancing might help keep me awake!!

think we ought to have some food ready for SCACO’s return too, not only has she been starved for 24hrs, but hospital grub??? I have some ‘nipples of venus’ chocolates to bring along, and left over cake and flapjacks from baking for tomorrow’s church fete, anyone got some spare cocktail sausages?
Yep, sausages, burgers and even a barbie from when I did a barbie for the 24-hour swim thing. AND I don’t burn many of them either, so I’m happy to be the blokey in charge of the barbie. Can those in the bakery yurt please knock up a batch of sesame seed buns and finger rolls?

Is there a Lemon Drizzle cake on the menu per chance ? If anyone has the recipe can we have it please as its such a lovely cake and I really need something nice at the moment.
So, so jealous of those who have finished their rads, I’m still waiting to start on July 6th, should I start moisturing the area loads now in preparation do you think ? For some strange reason I am feeling rather nervous about this bit, perhaps its because I’ve been free of treatments since my operation in April and the Onc let me have ‘time off’ for the wedding etc.
I’ve found a nice red carpet and have laid it at the entrance of the woods in readyness for SCACO and of course for any other woodlanders who fancy it.
Shall we form a receiving line for her and form an arch of flowers for her welcome ?
Hoping all the SE’s are small for everyone and shall we all meet up in the JM for a small drinky later ?
I can probably hunt up some strawberries in the garden, even before tomorrow’s promised sun and heat. (I’ll believe it when I see it.)
I handed in the request for voluntary redundancy yesterday, on the way up to Manchester for a concert DD2 was playing in. Despite trying to nap in the car on the way back today, I am really tired. I think I managed to block most of it out yesterday.

Oooh Saphy, we start RADS on the same day! Where are you going and how many have you got? I was wondering whether to stop moisturising with my normal one a couple of days before! I’ve got 15 + 4 boost finishing on Aug 2nd in Southampton, having lost the plot several months back I can’t remember where you’re having treatment.
There’s a lemon drizzle recipe several hundred pages back I think - Alto’s the one to point you in right direction there!
I’ve got sausage rolls here too should we need them!! (if only to throw at PB to stop him singing along with TN)

Saphy, have a look at my first post on page 333 of this thread breastcancercare.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=24&t=29124&p=530666&hilit=+drizzle#p530666 for what is, in my very humble opinion, the best lemon drizzle cake recipe in the whole wide world.
There might be some in the patisserie tent if you look very hard and use your best pointy elbows to keep CM at bay for long enough.

OOOooo Troymaiden I’m having mine at Southend on Sea, 15 plus 8 boosters, so by my reckoning I should be finished on Friday August 5th, hmmmmm me thinks I shall nag the ‘hubby’ oooo can’t get used to saying that yet lol, to have a couple of nights away in a nice hotel to celebrate.

I’ve added fairy lights to my second merkin and hung it from the door of my tent.
I think it looks quite fetching.
Guessing SCACO’s still in the company of the MorphineFairy, but being ‘positive’ I think we ought to go for the knees up anyway…wonderful job with the fairy lights and arches, the woods are looking ‘inspriring’!

So sorry ive not been on here for a while, im suffering really really bad with seroma after my mx 2 weeks ago, called the bcn and she said my surgeon does not like to drain it unless its unbarable, well its getting that way now but im seeing him on tuesday, plus with ANC ive got nerve pain too, oh im so fed up, im fine with the surgery its just the side effects which are getting me down,

Hello everyone, I am back to move more supplies into my tent ready for Monday. Hair has been cut, wig is resting in its bed, I can hear it snoring from here! Might have to put that somewhere where I can’t hear it. Not sure who has been in my tent whilst I was in Dorset but there are a lot of biscuit crumbs on the floor.

p.s. My big black dog Buggerit looks like he has been fed on too many ginger biscuits whilst I’ve been away. Will have to exercise him. I have the new zumba fitness game for my wii - will get that installed in my tent on Monday. Zumba Pilates anyone???
