My tent too is grubby if not gruesome. I thought I’d do a Glastonbury with it ie leave it for the recycling fairies. My thoughts are …<looks around=“” for=“” thoughts=“”> …I need something new for rads rushes after all it’s a new episode. </looks>
Maybe I could just shift over thataway after SEs from final poisoning have gorn and just go " oh this old thing, I’ve had it ages" in front of sparkly new tent with nifty coolin features.
Right I vote NE can clean all our tents back to their previous sparkling status and if that doesn’t work we will just take the flame throwers to them then start again with the nifty new ones that S2S seems to have with built in cooling systems. What do you think?
Mine is a health hazard, having occupied it since December. It definitely needs sorting out - I might catch something terrible that involves gruelling treatments to get rid of it and I wouldn’t want that.
I did begin to build a treehouse way back in the pages, but gave up as the Woods had become over-run with gremlins. I’m going to enrole the boy’s help, i think, to get it finished tomorrow - I deserve a treehouse & I will be able to keep an eye on the Nasties from above.
Lol, nice image of SCACO (and Babs of course) presiding over the woods from above. Make sure its towards the edge of the woods SCACo. I’m sure I keep getting glimpses of you through the trees. I think you are only a few branches and bits of undergrowth away from the quick way through rads rushes xx
ooh scaco - a treehouse … get you! Brilliant idea with built-in natural cooling features (called breezes, so much more pleasant than the evil chemo bodily winds)
Don’t worry Cheryl, my onc now thinks I might only be in Tamoxifen Towers for two years then they’ll check my hormone levels and might move me to Arimidex Avenue. The change of scenery will probably be very welcome by then and we can do lunch together daaarling.
Had chocolate cake this evening to mark the spot - hope I haven’t left too many crumbs but if I have maybe it’ll be easier for some of the rest of you to find your way out of the woods.
I’m sure someone else will pick up the NE bashing baton - wouldn’t want him to start getting complacent, would we?
thanks Mezzomamma and Ninja, yeh last tax tomorrow (nearly today in 10 mins) high of steriods tho took early, but this time tomor chemo no more, i hope. waiting for planning meeting re rads, what if postman cant find my tent, Alto, well done, congrts to u, please have more cake guide the postman !!! Sharxx love to u all xxx
Morning woodies, boy did I sleep well last night, I only got up 3 times with hot sweats, that ladies to me is a bonus and long may it continue, can’t wait until I get it down to one wakey up for the loo.
Mind you I’m surprised that I didn’t have more visits to be honest as I had quite a few virtual cocktails last night in the JM, its PB’s fault he was on that flaming Karaoke again and would have kept me awake, so I stayed in there. Can we please find him something useful to do?
Hopefully you are all well today and any SE’s are minimal, talk laters
Tell you what, we should train the merkin meerkats to hunt the feral eyebrows, eyelashes and LGs. They can do that cute standing up on their hind legs thing when they find one. These will be females, so should they wear purple silk negligees or perhaps scarlet bedjackets?
Cheryl
PS. Would you trust a male of any species for this?
I hope everyone is doing ok ? Am back from a fab holiday feeling relaxed & happy
Was supposed to enter Rads Rushes today but machine at hospital is broken so will now start tomorrow, i have now officially entered Tamoxifen Towers (last night) 1 down many more to go.
Glad you had a good hols. Thank you all for nice comments re beautifully shaped head. I KNOW!!
Scaco, new nickname of Randy, might not be toooooo out of left field!! OH looking fairly tasty at the mo and thats something that hasn’t happened for some few months now!! Not him not looking tasty but me being even remotely interested you understand!!
Ninja, do you need straightners for your underarm merkin? Got loads which surprisingly I no longer need at the mo!!
Alto, you had better see about some work/contract arrangements cos we definitely need you cooking lemony sticky things for some time to come!
Have just taken delivery of a new baby boy swan!!! We’re sooo excited, will post photos soon, ducks are a bit put out tho, they want to be big and white and graceful as well! Girl swan coming next year so boy will just have to be a honourary duck for a bit!
Got to laugh, my hairdressers have just phoned me, apparently I have won a new pair of hair straighteners in a competition I entered way back in February. Bless her she sounded so embarrassed on the phone as they know I have no hair at the moment. I however found it hilarious and it has quite cheered up my day. Do I have a warped sense of humour?
Maybe we could have a competition about different uses for straighteners!
Ninja’s armkin - or is it a merpit?
Ironing ties
Cooking burgers without needing to flip them
Not very inspiring I know. Bit bored. I’ve got one drain still attached and so I’m stuck on the sofa. I’m not in much pain really, in fact it’s better standing up, but moving about is tricky when you have to carry the flippin’ thing around.
Hey Ho. I’m so impatient. I had 8 Half hour op on Friday - 4 days later I’m getting impatient. It’s only for another day too! It should be out on Friday but even so…
Had good news today - I am only having 8 weeks of Taxol, not 12! So only 7 more to go! Pity about the 7.5 hours at the hospital today ( I only cried once - was tired hungry and thirsty and was told I had to be re- canulated and stll had 3.5 hours before I could go home, but chemo nurse was lovely and sorted out tea and food so I soon felt better).
Ninja, I am NEVER going to be able to watch that advert again! I laughed like a drain (does a drain laugh?) and the thought of a website to compare fake lady gardens had me falling off the sofa laughing.
Well done PW on evading 4 TAX, and on persuading someone to get you a cup of tea. There is so much that can be fixed by a cup of tea…
I agree, we need a competition for the most imaginative use for hair straighteners, to be judged by JoC. And bless your hairdresser for being a bit sheepish.
The Southern Chapter of Breast Angels, augmented by the Midlands Chapter, had a very select meet in Reading today. I swear I am fit to burst! Delish, and great company. Thank you fellow BAs. And now I have to have a lie-down and do some snoring.
